chapter 8 standing up to Gally

I watched as Gally stepped closer while Thomas , Minho , and Newt staring dead at me the Glade was dead silent all you could hear was the fire crackling

I stepped back and prepared for whatever Gally was planning suddenly he lunged lucky for me I had seen that coming and jumped out of the way as he passed me and began standing back up I turned around and jumped kicking him hard in the face causing him to spin completely around

He looked up at me with rage in his eyes again he lunged but this time I wasn't fast enough he knocked me to the ground knocking the air out of my lungs as he sat on top of me pinning my arms above my head he leaned in closer smirking

I let him get close before I headbutted him the crowd of glader's went ooooo and aaawww as I flipped Gally off of me as I quickly go up I rushed up to Gally grabbing his head and slamming my knee into his face breaking his nose causing him to stumble backwards he charged at me landing a left hook to my ribs making me stumble before I sent a right hook into his Kinney

He then shoved me hard sending me back a few feet as he started running towards me I ran at him but I slid between his legs kicking him in the balls making him land on his back I then did a back flip and walked over to where he was on his knees holding his balls I then grabbed him by the back of his neck making him look up at me

" I will never be yours Gally so leave me and my friends the hell alone " I snarled before shoving him to the ground and walking through the shocked glader's and to the fire

Clint and Jeff made their way to Gally who still laid in the circle Newt and the others walked back to their normal spots everyone still in shock from what I just did

" Wow greenie that was impressive who knew a girl could fight like that " Minho said patting my shoulder causing me to smirk that's when I noticed that Newt was just looking at me
I couldn't tell if he was angry or shocked

As I took a drink that Chuck offered me Alby walked up and told me that after tonight I'd be working as a med Jack which meant I had to treat Gally after I just beat his ass

How could Claire do something so reckless she could of gotten really hurt I mean she probably got hurt some yes she did beat Gally to hell and back but she shouldn't of challenged him like that what if he would of won I watched as Claire drank and was congratulated by other glader's on winning

I decided I would try not to get to angry for fear of scaring her away to someone like Thomas or Minho hell anyone really so I walked up and sat next to her and said she did really good and I asked if she was ok since Gally did rough her up some which he simply replied " ya I'm find .. someone had to stand up to him "
