Lili's POV

Cole and I decided to not spend our hiatus together. We are together 24/7 so it's okay to go our own way with the holidays. I mean of course I'll miss him but it's fine. We'll facetime as much as possible. 

It's the last day of 2018. I just woke up. I looked at my phone and I saw that I had a text message from Cole. I opened it. Wow, he wrote a long message. Then I remember it's allready 2019 in New Zealand where Cole is. I started to read the message.

'Dear Lili, I want to thank you for this amazing year! For all the beautifull memories we made together. Our wonderfull trip to Hawaii, the amazing weekend in Las Vegas, valentines weekend in Whistler, Paris (I wish we could have done that without all the paparazzi but oh well), of course the beautifull Cuixmala, the fucking MET BALL like wow we did that, thank you so much for the best birthday ever! We went to Montreal and I had the best time with you, thankyou for inviting me to your family's thanksgiving (I meant what I said, I'm so thankfull for you, my love). I loved all our funny twitter fueds, the nights we left parties and events early to eat pizza in bed, chinese food if you know what I mean, nights at the beach hoping nobody saw us, of course meeting our fans, I loved our long, excausting but amazing long days, nights and early mornings on set. I think we have to thanks Roberto again for this awesome job because thanks to him I met the love of my life. I mean we are made for each other, we even won an award for best liplock sooo. I'm so thankfull for you, the love of my life! I love you, Lils! I know it's not 2019 for you yet, but happy new year, my love! Let's make it an even better year! Love, Cole'

Ahh, I'm crying, I have the sweetest boyfriend ever! I text back to him:

'Ahh, baby! I love you SO MUCH! You are my life. Thank you for everything. WOW, now that you wrote it all down, we've done a lot this year! You made it the best of my life yet, thank you for that! To bad I can't kiss you at midnight but I'll definetly think about you. Let's make 2019 an even better year. Happy new year! I love you so much!'

I know he won't read it because he's probably or sleeping or he's out with the boys so I will talk to him later. 

*time pass*

I'm at the beach with Austyn. We are having such a great time here in Aruba. I'm happy to have some quality time with my best friend, finally. I mean I don't get to see her much because of Riverdale. We're at the beach. We are just talking about random things when I hear my phone ringing. I look at my phone and see Cole's name. 

"I have to take this. Can you stay here?" I say.

"Yeah of course!" Austyn says and sits down on the sand as I walk away. 

"Hey, baby. Happy new year!" I say through the phone.

"Hey, Lils! Thanks you to a happy new year."

"Well not yet" I say giggling

"I love you so much" he says. I hear some pain in his voice.

"I love you to! I everything okay?" I ask concerned.

"yeah. It's... it's fine." he says.

"Cole tell me what happened"

I hear a big sigh

"Cole, please. You're making me nervous"

"I was in a bar with the boys yesterday and .... uhmm..." 

"Baby, please! Tell me."

"Okay. I was at the bar. I knew there where some fans. When I wanted to get some drinks, some girls... they"

"Cole..."

"one of them holded her hands in front of my eyes. So I didn't see anything. They pulled me away. She.. she kissed me..."

"WHAT?!" I say.

"Lili, baby, please believe me! I tried to get away. I tried. I'm so sorry. I love you so much! Please don't be mad. Please don't" 

"Cole" I interupted him. "It's okay. I know you didn't want to kiss her. And I know you really love me. I can feel that even on the other side of the world."

"Really? You're not mad?"

"No, Cole. I love you way to much" I say with a smile on my face.

"Thank you baby! For understanding. I love you so much"

"I love you to! I have to go Cole. Austyn is waiting"

"Okay bye Lils! Have some great last hours of 2018. I love you!"

"Love you to! Have fun, baby! Bye" I say and hang up the phone.

I feel sorry for him. I mean he didn't want to be kissed by that girl. Now we have to wait and see if those girls share it on social media. I hope not. That would be a mess. 

'How am I going to explain this all to Austyn?' I think to myself. She's probaly going to laugh lol.
