A/N: thomas told lafayette pretty much everything so

~

Lafayette walked into the living room, where everyone else was seated, either on the floor or on the couch. He took his spot next to Hercules and laid his head on the boy's shoulder softly.

"Thank you so much, Lafayette," Hercules said sweetly, grabbing Lafayette's hand and squeezing it. Lafayette lifted his head up and gave Hercules a look of confusion. "We know you're friends with Two Ass, so thank you for helping us with this anyways." Alexander chimed in. Everyone else nodded along. The Frenchman scowled lowly at the nickname for Thomas.

Him, Hercules, Alexander, John, Josh and Tyler were in Hercules' living room. John and Alex sat on the floor with John resting his head on Alex's lap, Josh sat on the longer black couch while Tyler laid across it, and Lafayette was sitting with Hercules on the small black loveseat.

They were all planning something. You could call it evil. It was a plan to just destroy James, originally. They'd been planning it ever since the Tyler-Josh incident. That's why Alexander had let James confide in their little group.

But everything changed when Thomas was on Lafayette's doorstep. Thomas had let everything spill, and the Frenchman reported it back to the group, where they all decided that it was Thomas they were after instead.

Lafayette hated having to do this. As he thought, he decided enough was enough. The Frenchman sat upright, causing looks of confusion from everyone around him. "Herc, I... I can't."

"What?" Hercules laid a hand on Lafayette's shoulder, which he shook off quickly. "I can't do this, Herc!" Lafayette exclaimed, making eye contact with his boyfriend. Hercules looked taken aback.

"Thomas has become a dear friend of mine," Lafayette started, standing up from the couch and balling his fists. "I'm not going to ruin that!" Tyler and John had sat upright and everyone was glancing to each other. Hercules' face contorted from confusion to anger in seconds. "Then leave." he spat, getting close to Lafayette in a non-loving way.

Lafayette stared back Hercules for a few seconds and felt a few tears well in his eyes. But he quickly blinked them away. "Fine." Lafayette replied, walking towards the door. He took a last glance back at Hercules, who had flipped him off in return. Lafayette sighed and left the house, making his way back to his house.

There was no where else for him to go. All the places that made Lafayette feel safe wouldn't work anymore, since him and Hercules would go there all the time. Lafayette rubbed his eyes softly, finally letting a few tears slip. He wished so badly to be able to go back to the house and cuddle up to Hercules, telling him how much he really loved him.

But he couldn't. Not with what he was going to do to Thomas and James. Lafayette decided that he needed to warn the boys, no matter what the end result is. Both were his friends, and he wasn't about to let them get hurt while he knew it was happening.

Lafayette opened the door to his house, where he was greeted by Thomas on the couch, reading a book. "Where's my parents?" Lafayette asked, trying to control his voice. Thomas didn't look up. "I don't really know, they just said they were going out." The Frenchman sighed and shut the front door, sitting down next to Thomas.

That's when Thomas finally decided to look up. He saw the tears streaming down Lafayette's face and immediately threw his book to the side, engulfing the Frenchman into a hug. "What's wrong?" Thomas tried, but Lafayette just cried into his chest. After a few minutes, Thomas used two fingers to bring Lafayette's head up by his chin. Lafayette sighed a bit.

"H-Hercules... everyone else... Th-they're wanting to 'destroy' y-you and James..." Lafayette started quietly, "I was supposed t-to be in o-on it, but I r-refused to let it go any f-futher... I'm sorry!" he flung his arms around Thomas' neck and started crying into his chest again. "Laf..." Thomas muttered, stroking Lafayette's back softly.

"He b-broke up with m-me too!" Lafayette exclaimed, swallowing back more tears. "Shh..." Thomas hushed him softly. Lafayette just nodded and let himself relax against the boy. Thomas stroked Lafayette's hair and back softly, but enough to calm him down. Soon, Lafayette's sniffles weren't audibly and his little gasps and hiccups turned into normal breathing.

"Laf, we need to tell James!"

Lafayette nodded, groaning inwardly as he peeled himself off Thomas. He was very warm, and now the Frenchman was left in the cold.

Thomas pulled out his phone and dialed James' number.

"Thomas?" James replied on the other line as Thomas put the phone on speaker. "James, Laf and I need to tell you something." A small 'o-okay' was heard in response from the other line, and both Thomas and Lafayette could tell he was scared. The Frenchman explained everything that happened, with Thomas chiming in every once in a while.

There was silence on the other line for a moment.
