James contemplated during class. He paid no attention to any lessons in class, especially when he was in the same period as Thomas.

He knew he had it wrong; Thomas did nothing. Demyx lied. He just told himself it was true. So James planned on a way to get back together with his beloved Thomas.

Finally, the end of the day came around, and James quickly packed his things and basically ran outside. He left the building, pushing and shoving and recieving weird looks. But he didn't care.

James was out before Thomas, which he silently thanked for as he caught his breath. Finally, Thomas walked through the doors, continuing on to what seemed to be James' house.

"Thomas!" James yelled, reaching for and grabbing the boy's wrist. Thomas turned around, surprise and a little fear written all over his features. Instant regret crashed through James' body. "C-can we walk together?" Thomas only nodded.

The boys walked down the sidewalk, awkwardly side by side. James had been rehearsing what he was going to say throughout the day, but standing face to face with Thomas made it difficult. So he did what he thought would help him and just stopped in his tracks.

Thomas stopped as well, looking back with concern. James shook his backpack off his shoulders and ran up to Thomas, wrapping his arms around him. The boy was confused, but hugged back anyways.

"Jame-"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" James said, and continued to apologize, until Thomas had to pull him away and cover his mouth. "What are you sorry for?"

"F-for yesterday... M-my mind was telling me that Demyx..." James trailed off, removing his gaze from the ground to look at Thomas. He was quiet as he stared back, and James thought he knew what he was going to say.

"It's fine. I should be the one apologizing... I ignored you for almost two weeks, and I shouldn't have ever even gone to his house in the first place..." James brought Thomas into another embrace, and the boys stood there like that for a few minutes.

But, inevitably, Thomas pulled away. He opened his mouth to say something, but didn't know what to say so he closed it again. "Thomas... Just... Promise not to ever do that again..." James muttered, but loud enough for him to hear.

Thomas nodded and smiled. "I promise." And then the boys just stared at each other, Thomas with a goofy grin plastered on his face and James with a soft smile and blush. Finally, James decided to speak.

"Why are you just staring at me?" He asked, still with a smile. Thomas snaoped out of a daze and his grin slightly faltered. "So I'm thinking... I really want to kiss you right now."

"Then kiss me, you dork." James pulled Thomas down lightly by his collar and brought him into a kiss. It wasn't short, but it was long. It was perfectly in between. The boys pulled away soon, James smacking his lips a bit.

"You taste like candy..." He commented. Thomas chuckled and pulled out a small bag of Jolly Ranchers from his pocket. "Aw, can I have one?" James asked. Thomas nodded and opened the bag, giving him a Grape flavored one. James smiled and opened it, sticking it into his mouth a sucking on it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

The boys started walking again as Thomas had realized something. "Hey, I never gave you your Valentine's Day presnt." Thomas said, smirking. James look him with a cocked eyebrow. "You'll see it soon enough."

They mainly walked in a comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's presence. As soon as they walked into James' house, Thomas threw his bag on the floor. James lightly put his down, but then he was suddenly pinned to the wall.

"Thomas-" James was silenced by Thomas smashing their lips together. "Shhh," he said when he pulled away, slowly trailing kisses down James' jaw and neck.

James hesitantly let him go on, and soon he realized he wouldn't regret it. He tangled his hands through Thomas' hair. Thomas placed his hands on the back of his thighs, giving James a signal to wrap his legs around his waist.

Thomas collapsed breathlessly next to James, wrapping his arms around his chest and spooning him.

"Hey, James,"

"Yeah?"

"You know what I think?"

"What?"

"Homophobia is gay."

And with that, Thomas cuddled more into James' back, burying his face into his neck and almost instantly falling asleep. James' heart melted. He smiled as he slowly fell asleep too, knowing that everything was okay.
