An hour after Thomas left, Lafayette finally stopped crying. He wiped his tears and took a shaky breath, standing from the couch and walking towards his bedroom.

Upon entering, Lafayette saw a polaroid of him and Hercules. They looked so happy together.

It made rage course through Lafayette's veins. Tears of anger filled his eyes, but he quickly blinked them away. He didn't want to cry over a person like that.

Lafayette looked through his drawers for a jacket. It was 5:00 pm, but he wanted to talk to Hercules. And by talk, he meant he was probably going to scream at him.

Lafayette thought about what he was going to do, but then realized it was a stupid idea. No turning back now, he thought. He was basically already in front of Hercules' house.

Taking a deep breath, Lafayette walked up the steps and knocked on the door. His hand was shaking but he managed to make it a loud knock. Lafayette heard shuffling, then the door opened.

His eyes widened when he saw who it was. "L-Lafayette?" Demyx's voice cracked, his face covered in surprise. He also didn't have a shirt on and his pants were unbuckled. Lafayette felt tears prick at his eyes.

Though he wanted to be nice, Lafayette couldn't seem to form words, so he pushed Demyx out of the way and marched up to Hercules. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Hercules yelled, his face turning red from anger. Lafayette retracted for a second, but stood his ground, coming to the same height as the other.

They stared at each other, Lafayette had love and sadness evident in his eyes, but Hercules looked dull. There was no shine, and almost no color. They were different. They looked broken.

But Lafayette wasn't thinking rationally. Every pent up emotion crashed down on him like a wave, and he pulled his hand back. He let it fall, hard, against Hercules' cheek, a loud smack filling the room.

Hercules shrieked and grabbed at his face, backing up into the wall. Demyx immediately ran to his side. For a few seconds, Lafayette just stood, frozen in shock at what he'd done. Everything had stopped. Motion was slow, and sounds just weren't existent.

But it dawned on him, and everything came back fast. Lafayette started hyperventilating. "Hercules! M-mon-" He tried running to his side as well. "I'm so sorry!" But he was pushed back by Demyx.

"Leave, Lafayette." Demyx said assertively, staring up at him with dark eyes. "I didn't m-"

"GO AWAY!" Hercules yelled, surprising both Lafayette and Demyx. The Frenchman went to leave quickly, despite his instincts, but not before catching a glimpse of his former love's face.

Hercules' eyes looked more broken than before, and tears were pouring from them. His face had a small red mark forming.

Lafayette ran out of the house and all the way back to his own. He ran non-stop until he was in his room, and then finally let himself break down. Again, every pent up emotion poured out, but this time it wasn't violent, and he was alone.

Like he always was.
