Max's pov:
It was a shock to be kicked in the chest and I lost my breath for a few seconds before I was able to breath in as Alexis just man handled everyone around her, Anna the only one without at least a bruise as she remained further back to be sure humans wouldn't find us.
I scrambled to my feet as she ran, feeling pure anger through the bond, I ran after her, I can't let her go alone in this state of mind.
She was too angry to even think off using her vampire speed but even so she was a bit faster than me.
"Alexis!!"
I discarded my bag on the ground so only keeping my phone since it was in my pocket and it wouldn't change much if I dropped it to get rid of weight.
I was soon running after the noise of her steps as I couldn't see her before I heard a four legged animal running meaning she shifted but despite that I didn't, feeling like I should for some reason.
"Not now!" I cursed as the forest changed to the old forest from these weird visions and I wasn't alone, carrying a baby boy in my arms.
"Alexis/____!!" I heard my voice and an unknown one yell before all faded away and I avoided a tree, now tracking her by smell only, a wolf much faster than a wolf in human form.
I was worried, my pack knew about what happened through the forever existing link and heck I even called the vampires with my phone, you might wonder why the hell I would have a vampire's phone number, one Hans is a doctor and two he is her son so technically since I'm her mate he is my family too so despite the hate our races have for each other I will try to forget it since I gained a sort of son out of nowhere that is a vampire.
I was so glad she shifted in the forest or it would have been a disaster to cover up, could have been done with her gift and us making the deaths look like a murder-suicide terrorist attack but luckily that won't be needed.
I felt bad for being happy that she was about to beat that jackass up, it made me feel nice she'd do that for me but also guilty because I enjoyed it despite wanting to do the same thing she did.
My emotions were all over the place and I wasn't sure anymore that what I was feeling was my own or her emotions.
I stopped running to answer a phone call.
"Yes? Found her?"
"Yes, stay was you are I'll come get you fast if--" "I grant you permission to step on our lands." I cut him off, territory the least of my worries right now.
I marched in circles after pocketing my phone, in five minutes Hans zipped to a stop by me.
"I don't care get me to her." I said as he was about to ask in which way should he pick me up, I just didn't care for pride right now as he picked me up in princess carry, it was weird to see what vampires did when they zipped around the place.
I was worried since a raging wolf is dangerous, they can destroy their environment just as much as themselves, not a lot of wolves remember what they did when enraged which can lead to deaths.
I cursed in my mind as my vision changed again but this time looking around Alexis was the one carrying me with a smile and I was much smaller, like a little child around eight, this vision stuck around until I was set on the ground when I finally saw normally again, this was getting annoying in the long run.
Looking around we were at a rock facade with a black wolf with blood red eyes pushing itself against it while snarling and growling at us, vampires blocking off any escape route, it was really hostile and aggressive, fur spiked up.
"She won't react to normal stimulus like my voice or even her own name, too far gone inside her own mind, maybe just maybe...." "Her mate could help." I finished his sentence and he nodded.
"But it is not without danger."
"I don't care just make sure to not lose her if she gets away."
"Not a chance, I would let my mother run." I nodded and slowly stepping in between vampires and in the half circle, I felt so bad right now.
"Hey.... Alexis.... It's me." I said softly as she bared her white fangs at me, in a glance I could tell her canines were longer in this form coming from the vampire part of her, they were a bit longer than my pointer finger, I am a wolf almost as big as a human if I stood normally and she looked a big bigger when a human when standing normally.
She snarled at me, I actually felt a sliver of fear for a second before pushing it away and forcing myself to try to feel calm because if I felt her emotions she did too as it was already proven before.
"You know when you first came here I couldn't help but wonder if I had lead eyes on an angel." I was saying whatever to try to get through to her but nothing, no matter what I said or did calmed her enough to let me get close to her and touch her would ricking a bite.
I ran out of ideas before something jumped in my mind and I fished out my phone.
"You know I learned piano? I am actually good at it but didn't practice for a while now, not enough time." I said softly, kneeing down on one knee and tapped my phone. "And I might not be as good as you but when I like a song I usually end up actually wanting to learn how to sing it, you know like just for the fun of it, one of these songs I knew on the piano and jokingly sang along, thinking I would learn it so I could at least show of once to my future mate, I didn't know dad was filming me at the time and was mad when I found out but I'm kind of happy he did." I finished as I clicked the video and carefully threw the phone closer to her, she snarled at it as I just stared at her as the video loaded in.
The video was the only sound next to her soft growling but she was staring deeply in the screen, so intently I worried it would crack under her gaze.
"I would have liked it doing it live instead of a video as you can guess." I half stood up and slowly stepped closer making her growl at me but it was like she was forced to look back down.
When I was close enough I carefully reached over and gently petted her head, she growled really loudly and I pulled my hand back but put it back as she didn't reach after it to bite me.
I smiled softly as I rubbed her head and ears, growling never stopped but I wasn't going to get mauled to death and bitten.
