She kept meeting him when she goes to Hyde Park around dawn.
Every morning. Rainy or sunny. He would be there. In the same spot, near Serpentine Lake. As if waiting for her.
Nina turns around and leaves the spot. It's her favorite spot in this park. Too bad a stranger kept occupying it.

She looks backward. She isn't a paranoid woman. But she feels she's being followed. She has planned to go home. But she retraces back her steps.
A pairs of hands suddenly captured her from a nearby alley.

"Gotcha!" yells Kate.
"Damnit, Kate! You scared the shit outta me!" curses her.
"Really? Did you poop in your pants?" asks her with a smirk.
She tries to touch her ass to convince her suspicions.
"Of course not. I'm no scaredy cat," says Nina when she slaps her hand away from her fine looking ass.
"Nina Karanina, you're the bravest girl, babe. You rock!"
Nina asks irritatedly, "Are you on drugs?"
"Nope. Just happy, happy ,super happy. Check this out!"
Kate flashes the letter proudly. She made it. A year worth scholarship from Oxford University.
"Congrats!"
Nina tries to sound cheerful although she's a bit down hearted. Her scholarship apply has been denied.
