You're my baby

It's starting to rain when Nina is walking home from work. A black SUV car stops next to her and opens it's door.

"Get in, Nina. Before you got sick," orders Jack.

She gets into the car because the other cars behind has begun honking their horns continuously.

"You are a part of me. I'm part of you definitely..."

David Cook is singing Always my baby in the car audio.

Jack begins to sing along.

Nina shakes her head. She complaints, "Won't work anymore. Just stop it."

This song is like their theme song whenever they got into a nasty quarrel.

They had been dating for two years. Had seen through some bad, heart breaking quarrels. Each time he was able to win back her heart.

Nina says, "Not this time, Jack. I finally found my Mr Right."

"Gerard Butler isn't the right man for you. He isn't the man you think."

"It isn't like I'm planning to marry him or something tomorrow. It just clicked. Felt he's the one for me."

Nina laughs at her own joke. Jack only stares her. Sadness filled his eyes. He holds her hand and puts it on his chest. Right on his thumping heart.

He say, "My heart only beats for you, sweetie pie."

"Your heart is pumping blood, moron."

Nina pulls her hand from his grasp.

Jack only chuckles. Sweet corny lines won't work on her Nina. She is too smart for it.

Nina stares ahead of them. Busy traffic jam as usual.

She says, "He's the man in my dreams, Jack."

"Told you those dreams meant nothing. Byproducts when you got a head concussion that night."

Nina protests, "It isn't like that. The dreams felt so real."

"Nina, darling..."

"No, you couldn't sweet talk me over this. It's over between us."

Jack looks very sad and lonely. Nina orders her heart to be stronger.

She says, "You still owed me explanation. What is your job? Your real job. Don't tell me it's f*cking salesman again!"

Jack pulls his gun from his back. He points it to her head.

He mocks, "Your curiosity could kill you, Nina. Why can't you just believe me?"

She stares to the gun and her face goes pale. Jack looks very upset. He puts the gun back to its previous position.

He rubs his head with a hand.

"Sorry, Babe. Got too much pressure lately."

Nina unlocks the door and opens the door. Jack doesn't try to stop her.

He only says, "Ask him. He has the same job as mine."

Nina leaves the car. Walking toward the sidewalk while avoiding the other cars.

Walking in heavy downpour. She's completely wet and shivering when she got home.

She goes straight to Gerard's room. Knocking his door, demanding answer.

"Damn it! Nina! Are you crazy?" curses Gerard when he opens the door.

He quickly pulls her into his room. And then he closes the door.
