Nightmare

Tied to a chair.

His worst enemy is grinning wickedly right now.

Another person tied to a chair next to him. She's Kate, Nina's bestie. She looks like hell. Hanks must have been playing with her.

His feet is wet. Dipped in a basin. Shallow water.

A taser gun is in one of Hank's hand.

Gerard mocks, "Can't you be more creative? It's too old fashioned way."

Hanks grins wickedly.

He says, "For old times sake. This is the best thing available."

He stuns Gerard with the taser gun. The water added the damage. Gerard managed not to scream when he felt the electricity shock. Biting his lips until he felt blood in his mouth.

Hanks mocks, "Too low voltage. Let's double it."

This time he did it.

Gerard screams out his pain.

Again and again, he got tased.

Until he finally fainted.

"No fun at all," grumbles Hanks.

He goes to charge the taser.

Kate holds her breath when the villain is staring her. Hanks licks her lips. Like a predator eyeing his prey.

Then he says, "Wait for me, pretty lady. We shall have fun when I got back."

He leaves through the back door.

"Gerard! Gerard! Wake up, Man!"

Jack shakes his body but Gerard remains unconscious. The guy is sick and he got tased numerous times.

Nina is crying bitterly when she sees his condition.

A police officer has reported he has seen Gerard earlier. The guy looked sick and he bailed out of his police car. A police dog sniffed the ground and tracked him down to this old house.

Jack stares to Nina. It would take time to reach hospital. And time is running out for her boyfriend.

He takes out a new, unused syringe from his pocket.

Jack asks, "Your blood type is B, correct?"

Nina nods slightly.

He adds, "He is AB. It shouldn't be any problem."

"What..."

"The anti virus, Nina. In your blood."

"Oh!"

Nina stands still when Jack is drawing her blood. Then he injects her blood into his vein.

She asks, "Is it going to work? Take more blood from me..."

"You just donated two liter blood earlier. Your head would be dizzy, Nina."

"I don't care. Just save him!"

A paramedic has just finished treatments on Kate's wounds.

She is walking toward Nina right now. She looks frightened.

Nina opens her arms and Kate walks to her. They hug each others tightly.

"I'm sorry...so...sorry..." apologizes Kate.

"I'll be dead without it. You did the right thing, Kate."

They are sobbing right now.

Gerard has been taken to a waiting ambulance.
