I imagine Mr. Wallace as Anthony Hopkins. Feel free to think other cast.

Kate wipes her face with a small towel. Her money is running out. She has been moving from one cheap hotel to another one.

She stares to a mirror in the bathroom. There is crack at one edge. The surface is a bit murky and dark from mold. Still she could see her reflection.

Dark circles around her eyes. She looks tired, ready to give up any moment now.

"Oh, Alex...how much more? Don't think he would ever give up..."

She starts to weep but she quickly wipes away her tears.

Nina is gone.

Taken by them. Probably killed. It's up to her to secure the anti virus.

"I'm sorry, Nina..."

She has put her best friend's life in danger. It's the same as if she had pulled the trigger to her head.

Kate holds the water basin and washes her face again.

Money.

She needs money.

Using her credit card?

Hanks might track her down. Yet, she's running out of options.

It's so easy for Dean Winchester. Grabbing money in local bars.Playing poker with strangers in a bar isn't her best option. Most of the times, she lost her money.

If only there's someone who could lend her some money...

Someone came across her mind.

He would be perfect. He lives at the edge of London. And he lived alone like a hermit. He wouldn't mind to let her stay for few weeks. The old man always has a soft spot in his heart for her.

Kate begins to pack her stuffs.

Time to pay him a visit.

*****

A knock on the door. No one opens it for a long time.

Maybe he's already dead. He's kind of old, almost ancient.

Finally the door got opened. The old man fixes his glasses.

Kate is holding her breath.

Finally the man smiles a little. He seems to recognize her. He makes a gesture to come in.

"You have grown so much, little Katie. Almost didn't recognize you."

Mr. William Wallace used to date her late grandma. They never got married. Just two lonely folks spending their time together. It broke his heart when she passed away. He moved away and they lost contact.

Kate only received a Christmas gift once from him. That's why she know his new address. She's in junior high when her grandma died. That year she moved away to US because her Dad got a better job offer.

The old man brews a pot of tea for them.

"Milk?" asks him.

"Oh, Mr. Wallace. Let me do it for you."

"Young lady, I maybe above eighty. Still capable in doing things on my own. Would you like sugar and milk?"

"Two cubes and no milk."

"Kids nowadays. Worried too much for waistline. Guys back at my time love curves on a woman."

Katie chuckles. It seems so normal talking to him like this. Good old days. When her life still felt normal.
