The Alphas Son

"I wanna go home!" I yelled back at my brother. Breakfast was just starting and we were arguing. We had been here in Alaska for months, we have been away from home for what feels like an eternity.

Maya was sitting silently at the table next to Dalton who was siding with Cullen. Tom was still asleep but on my side. "I miss my mate!" I yelled making Maya's eyes go wide. "You found your mate?" She asked in shock. "they made me leave him behind" I said as I started to cry. "I miss Mason, I miss home," I told them making them look guilty. "It was Safer to go without them," Dalton told me for the millionth time.

"You are staying here where it's safe, end of discussion!" Cullen said in his alpha voice. Maya looked taken back, she knew little of who we were, our power. "It was fine when it was just us and the boys," I told him feeling defeated. "But they practically led the people who want to kill you to us" Dalton added in. "Kill her?" Ava asked and Dalton just nodded.

I looked around and then out the window. "I'm going out for a run," I told them as I grabbed my phone out of my pocket. As soon as I was out of the door I scrolled to a number I saved in my contacts.

My dad. It rang several times before someone picked up. "Steven speaking how can I help you," my uncle said. "Hey, Uncle Steven," I said earning a silence. "Bay?" He asked in shock I just continued to walk further into the woods.

"Ya, it's me. How are you?" I asked getting more silence in return. "Bay?" He asked again. "Yes it's me," I told him and he was silent. I looked at my phone confused as he hung up on me. I looked at all my contacts and there were River and uncle Zander. If I just told them where I was, Mason would be on his way. He would be with me.

I moved my thumb towards the call button but shut my phone off before I could. I grabbed my headphones out and put on music after plugging them in. I started walking further into the woods as the sun got further up in the sky.

I was soon approached by Maya's pack members. I recognized Dylan and some of the others. Dylan barked at them as I took out my headphones, they left as Dylan shifted in front of me. "I can smell the Alpha blood in your veins," he said as he grabbed my hand and sniffed my wrist. I pulled it away as I kept walking. "Imagine the pups we could have together," he said as he grabbed my hand.

"Imagine the pups I'm going to have with my mate when I'm allowed to go back to him," I told him as I pulled away. "I don't smell him on you," he told me, I pulled my shirt down a bit to show my mark." if he was here, trust me his wolf wouldn't be happy. Twice the size of my brother" I said and he laughed, As he took a step closer to me. "I don't see him here, so hows he going to stop me?" He asked as he grabbed my arm.

"Get your hands off me!" I yelled as I dropped my phone. Siri came up so I yelled "Call Cullen!" As I kicked him in the dick. He fell to the ground as he grabbed my leg. He pulled me down to the ground as Cullen picked up. He bit me over my mark, I screamed as I felt Mason's pain. The direct line to our connection. I could feel Artemis crying in pain as Max was there in the back of my mind holding onto her, scared and confused.

Cullen pulled him off me as I put my hand over my wound. Dalton and Maya came running to me as my brother attacked the alphas son. "It's okay," Maya told me as Dalton scooped me up. Dalton set me down on the sofa as he went to go get Cullen's ringing phone.

"What happened? Mason Called me freaking out!" I heard River say before I heard my mates screaming in my head. "Alaska, we are in Fairbanks Alaska," Dalton said them the line went dead. He dropped the phone and came to my side. Maya put a cold cloth on my head as Dalton tried to stop the bleeding. "He's not your mate, we need to get his venom out... Mason needs to get the venom out" he said as Maya said I was burning up, I didn't feel anything anymore.

Dalton carried me up to my bathroom as Maya started a cold bath. Maya stripped me to just my underwear before Dalton put me in. Thomas came in with a worried look on his face.

"Mason and River should be on their way, I'm guessing they are getting a flight," Dalton said as I heard the door slam downstairs. Maya closed her eyes as a howl came from somewhere in the woods. Cullen walked in covered in blood, Dylan's blood. "Can everyone get out?" I asked and Maya, Dalton, and Thomas left.

Cullen grabbed a washcloth from the cabinet and started washing the blood off himself. He checked my temperature and drained the water. He added closer water and ice cubes before he took a seat next to me.

"Try to sleep if you can, Mason won't be here for a few hours at least," my brother told me. So I closed my eyes and drifted off feeling numb.
