The sunlight came through the curtains interrupting my sleep. I wigged my way out of my sleeping mates arms and made my way over to one of the windows. I pulled on the large curtain but it wouldn't budge. I pulled again but only managed to fall onto my ass.
"Bay?!" My mate said as he shot up in bed, he looked around the room before his eyes landed on me where I sat on the floor. "I can't get the curtains," I said aggravated, he just smiled at me as he got out of bed. His shirtless chest flexed as he stretched, hot. He closed the curtains with ease. He picked me up with one arm before putting me back in bed. He smiled at me as he leaned onto the bed,looking into my eyes.
"Breakfast!" River yelled from downstairs. I stood up on the bed and put my arms around his neck. I was normal female height, all these males are just abnormally large. "Let's get downstairs before they eat it all," he told me as he threw me over his shoulder. He kept a hand on my ass as we left my room, probably more because he wanted to than for support.
He set me down when we got in the kitchen. River and Cullen were looking at us, one smirking at Mason the other look was one of warning. You can probably guess who was who, it also helps to know Cullen had a real tight hold on his knife. "Bay I have an Idea for if they do come," Dalton said as I stole a price of his bacon. "They want the daughter of the Huntress, so they get her. You were trained by your mother, so show them that" he told me and I thought about it.
"I like it, I'll make a quick bow later today," I told him and several of the guys looked shocked at our conversation. "The huntress trained you?" Devin asked shocked. "I'm still shocked that they are her kids" Haden added. "Let's also set up some extra safety precautions around here," River told them, we all agreed.
~~~~~
"It's just some paracord and pvc" I told Dalton as we walked through the woods. I took an arrow out of my holder as I looked around the woods. "And how did you make it?" He asked, "a file," I told him and he just nodded.
I shot my arrow and a squirrel fell from the trees. "Hell yea!" Dalton yelled. "Okay, that's done. Let's go check on the boys" he said as he walked over to retrieve the squirrel. "It's good food," he said when he looked at me, I put my hands up in defense.
I started down the trail to the creek, following the scent of Mason. I stopped at the tree line and looked at the boys. Tommy sat in a tree above the creek across from the one Mason was in. "We installed cameras!" Thomas said when he saw me, making the others look over to me. "You should have seen Mason, he literally just jumped tree to tree. Like a monkey man!" He said as he got down. Mason jumped down and started walking towards me, but everyone stopped when we heard other people in the woods, they were running towards us.
I grabbed an arrow as two pairs of feet came running out of the trees. I aimed but didn't fire. The redhead from Rivers pack and a girl that looked like Devin stopped not far from us. "Mason baby I missed you!" The redhead said as she ran to my mate. He stood there as she wrapped her arms around him. He looked at the guys as Devin walked over to his sister by the way he started yelling at her.
The redhead grabbed Mason's face and started kissing him, "boys go pack, Bailey I need to get his scent off you" Cullen mind linked us. "I feel bad to do this to River but I have to protect my siblings" he added as he threw me over his shoulder. We were at the house in seconds. "Go grab the sheets you slept on, we need to burn them" Cullen ordered. I did as he said then brought them outside where he handed me one of his hoodies.
He threw the blankets into a pile with other stuff. "Get in the car" Cullen ordered me in an alpha tone as he poorer lighter fluid on the pile. He lit a match as I got in our aunt's car. Thomas was already in the back seat and Dalton in the passenger. Cullen got in the driver's seat and started the car, and we were off. We were leaving the guys behind, Cullen just kept saying it was for our safety.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~We pulled into the parking lot of the small diner, we were several hours away from our aunt's house, away from my mate.
"We are getting food and gas then we keep going," Cullen said as we got out. I walked into the diner and got us a booth. I hadn't said anything to any of them since we left, and Dalton knew that. Dalton looked worried as he looked at me. "I miss mom and Dad," Thomas said as his eyes watered. I pulled him into my arms and he rested his head on my shoulder.
"We need to go farther," Dalton said as he pulled out his phone. "Alaska?" He asked and we all just looked at him. "It's 66 hours away, we can make our home in Fairbanks," he said and Cullen just nodded.
"I can get in contact with some people, rent a house for when we get there," Cullen said before leaving the table.
