I looked at the dress in the mirror. Black, the opposite of the dress I was supposed to wear in two days time. She was supposed to be alive for the wedding, have her be there upfront. They said it was painless, she passed on peacefully in her sleep.

I let my natural waves fall around my face before I wiped my tears. I walked out of my bedroom to see Mason standing there waiting for me. He was wearing a black suit and tie, he looked good. He opened his arms and I walked into them. I felt safe in his arms, I tried to keep from crying as rested my head on his chest for a moment.

"We should go," I told him. We got to the cars and drove to the Church. The Ceremony was nice, I tried not to cry but five minutes in I was wiping my tears. I leaned against Mason as he had his arm wrapped around me. When it was over Everyone headed to the dinner being held at the packhouse, but the family stayed back.

"Alaric?" I heard my father ask, we all turned to see a man entering the church. "Brother!" The man said as he opened his arms. My father ran to him and hugged him. "Let me introduce everyone," my dad said as he looked to us.

"You know my lovely mate Evita. Then there are my pups. Cullen, Bailey, and Tommy. Basically our other children, Dalton and River. Dalton's Mate Ava and Bailey's mate Mason" my father said and my uncle waved at all of us. Looking at each of our faces.

"I think we should all get going," my dad said. So we all headed towards the house.

I looked at my bridesmaids. Ava and Maya. Caleb says silently in the corner as I tried on dress after dress. The wedding was in the morning, and we need to find one.

"Thank you, Next," Ava said to the dress I was currently wearing. She's right, it's too puffy. I nodded then headed back into the dressing room.

The next dress. Perfection. It looked like something a goddess would wear. The lace train the perfect touch. I slipped on my blue heels before walking out to where the three were waiting.

"Yes! That's the one" Maya said when she saw me. Caleb smiled at me, "our little Arrow is all grown up" he said as he wiped a fake tear away. "Shut it," Ava told him as she threw a throw pillow at him. "You should change then we can start our sleepover!" Ava said, Caleb started jumping up and down.

"Caleb's not invited," Ava said as I went to change. I hadn't seen Mason since the funeral, Artie was begging me to go see him. But we would see him in the morning. If the hunt goes well.

It's a tradition for a male werewolf to go on a hunt and find the best prey for his mate. As an offering to the one, they want to wed or mate with. As a show of his dedication, power, and love for them. So Masons somewhere out there, trying to find his prey. He left after the funeral and I haven't heard from him since.

Artie and I keep playing through different scenarios. What if he gets hurt? What if he just doesn't come back. Maybe he gets lost, Maybe he gets killed! I shook my head trying to block out the thoughts. I quickly changed into my clothes then go to meet the others.

"Even when you're married. I'm still going to be your guard. All the way till you become Luna of Fisher Point. Unless Mason decides to keep me, then I'm with you for the long run girl" Caleb said. "How did I get so lucky," I said sarcastically making him roll his eyes at me. Even though we don't always get along, he has become one of my best friends.

"I'm going to go stop at my parents, I'll meet you guys at the house," I told them. I grabbed my things then headed to my car. I drove to my parent's house and didn't bother knocking before heading in.

"I just thought you would wanna know that your daughters getting married. Tomorrow" I heard my Dad say to someone. "I just thought you would want to know" he added after a minute. "She's my little girl but she's also yours" what the hell is he talking about.

"I know Kendra. But she's not a little girl anymore" I stood there frozen as I tried to process it all. "Alaric already called him. I tried to stop him but he's Alec's alpha. There wasn't much I could do. Just come, I can't stop him from doing anything. But you can" my dad said. My dad was silent before he said goodbye.

My father, Gavin, let out a sigh. "What was that?" I asked making him jump. He looked at me in shock, "explain now" I told him and he shook his head. "Bailey I wish I could tell you. Even if I could you wouldn't understand"

"Are you not my parents?" I asked as tears started flowing. I look like them, I really do. "We are, it's more complicated than that," he told me as I started shaking. "You have our blood, we raised you. But your magic is the child of two other. Along with your wolf", he told me. That makes no sense.

"Who? How?" I said as I sat down on the couch. "I can't tell you, you will find out everything. But not now" he said as he couldn't even look at me. I stood up and left.

I don't have time to worry about this, I'm getting married tomorrow. And I'm happy. I shouldn't care, but I do. For someone reason.
