~Mason~
I ran into the alpha house, following my mate's mother and her best friend."Gavin!" Evita yelled as she looked around. He came walking out of the kitchen. "Why did you call off the search groups?" Caleb asked him.
All the different scenarios ran through my head.
They found her or she showed up
She was dead.
I shook my head trying to get rid of the last thought. My mate and our son would be okay. It had been weeks now without any trace of her, without any news. Nothing had come up. We were always searching, for a scent, a trail.
A reason why or how. And explanation for what happened.
But nothing. She was just gone. Disappeared with the red figure.
None of us had slept in the past weeks, none of us have rested.
I took a deep breath as Gavin took a sip of his coffee. Coffee wouldn't help with the bags under his eyes, it wouldn't help with anyone's nightmares. It wouldn't help with the emptiness without her.
"Selena is here," Gavin told his mate. She dropped her bow down onto the hardwood floor.
"Where?" Evita asked as Caleb looked at me in confusion. I shrugged as I watched my mate's parents. "She's with the baby," Gavin said. His mate started crying.
"Baby?" Caleb asked. "Mason, you are a father," Gavin told me with a smile. "Gavin, what are you talking about?" Evita asked as she cupped her mates face. "And we're grandparents," he said before he chuckled.
"Selena!" Evita yelled before walking down the hall towards the stairs. Several minutes pass as we waited.
Evita came back down the hallway carrying a baby. An actual baby. She looked at me through her watery eyes. "Pup, our pup," my wolf told me. I walked over to her and she handed me, my son.
"Does he have a name?" Caleb asked. "She named him Alexei," Gavin said as he looked at my son. My son, I was a father.
"Where is Bailey?" Caleb asked before I could. "We have some explaining to do first," Cullen said as he walked into the living room with Margo.
~~~~~~~~~~Bay~
I sat on my bathroom counter with my legs crossed. My hair was longer, my eyes were bigger, my skin was tanner, my jaw was sharper, I was taller, my boobs were smaller. I was basically a completely different person.
My clothes didn't fit me anymore. Margo has gotten me some more, not enough for long. I was hoping I wouldn't be like this for long. I pulled back my hair and looked at my bare shoulder, I still had Mason's mark.
I looked down at my stomach. You couldn't even tell I had been pregnant an hour ago. The gods really can work miracles.
I climbed off the counter and walked into my room. It was almost how I left it. My bed smelled like Mason, he had been sleeping here.
I could tell.I looked in my long mirror on my bathroom door. I was wearing a crop top that was one of the only things that fit, along with athletic shorts.
I looked at my bedroom door. "Mate is here," Artie told me. I sighed. I would have to do this eventually.
I walked out of my room and started walking down the hall. I could hear people talking downstairs. I somehow made it all the way downstairs without making a single noise.
"But she's safe?" Caleb asked. Everyone was sitting around the living room, backs to me as Cullen explained everything. Cullen nodded as he thought of how to explain the situation.
My mother was crying in my father's arms as she held a framed picture of me from when I was a kid. Caleb was asking questions well the others stayed quiet. Mason held our tiny Alex in his big arms. He kept glancing down at the sleeping angel.
"Where was she?" Caleb asked as my dad noticed I was here.
"Hell" Selena answered as she walked in, Morpheus with her. They all looked confused to see her. "Hades took her, He planned to make her one of them by bonding her with the god of fear" they all looked scared.
"The god of fear?" My father asked as he stood up. "Where is my little girl?!" My mom shouted as she stood up. "Our daughter is safe I can assure you that," Selena said, my mother, growled at her. "You are not her mother, I am!" My mom yelled at her.
"I'm sorry you feel that way," Selena said as she looked down at the floor. I heard the door open, I looked over and my little brother walked in. "What's going on?" Tommy asked as he looked around.
"She is as much yours as she is mine," Selena told my mom. "I gave birth to her, I raised her!" My mom yelled at the moon goddess. "And I did the exact same the first time. If only we could go back to when she was the only mine. When the only thing I had to worry about for my children was them falling in love" Selena sighed.
"Let's get you some air love," my dad said as he started walking towards the door with my mother.
"Morpheus get the babe, we have to leave," Selena said as she closed her eyes. Morpheus waved his hand and the boys were out.
"I'm not leaving," I told them. "It's not safe here for you," Selena told me. "Can we take Mason and Caleb?" I asked as I looked at the two of them. "Fine, time passes normally in my realm," Selena told me. I took Alexei before Morpheus threw both of them over his shoulders like there were sacks of potatoes.
Selena wrapped us in her magic as I put Alex to my chest and closed my eyes.
We weren't in the place Selena first took me. We were somewhere by the ocean. The house looked somehow modern yet ancient at the same time. It was beautiful, to say the least.
