Your daughter for peace

I laid down in the snow and let out a huff. I was freezing my ass off out here, but I wasn't going back to the house anytime soon.

"Get back to the house, NOW," my father said through our link. Change of plans, I'm going back to the house. I started running as growls echoed towards me.

"Let me take over" my wolf  Artemis told me and I obeyed. In seconds I was running faster... but soon enough there was so where to run. My bones cracked back into place as I looked over the edge, I looked back to see the wolves getting closer. One of them charged before slashing his claws across My bare chest

"Find my body," I told my family as I jumped over the edge towards the freezing water below.

The fall felt like it took years, but as soon as I hit the water I was paralyzed. I watched as I got farther and farther from the surface. The water above me was red from my blood, if anyone came they would be able to see where I was.

I saw people diving into the water and looking around, searching. I used the rest of my air to scream, that got the attention of my one and only mate.

My mate swam down and scooped me into his arms, The sparks were like a jolt of electricity. the second we breached the surface I felt everything. I felt the bleeding scratched and my empty lungs. I wrapped my arms around my mate's neck, thankful he wasn't looking at me, that's when it hit me. He's also naked.

He carried me to the shore and started running towards the house as I let my head fall into his bare chest. His warmth transferred to me, he's was like a Furnace.

When we entered my home it was silent, nobody was here... they were all off fighting the rouges. I looked around the living room as we walked towards the sofa. Tried to push off his chest but he wouldn't let me go, he sat us down on the sofa and held me in his arms.

"Let me go" I whispered making him growl. "You will heal faster in my arms," he said his voice deep, he tightened his hold on me. "You're hurting me," I said making him let go of me, he stood up leaving me on the sofa as he started pacing.

I took the opportunity to leave the room and run to mine as fast as I could. My chest was already almost healed so I put on my warmest onesie, now I'm literally a wolf in sheep's clothing. My door burst open as I put on my fluffy socks, I didn't turn to look at my mate as I grabbed an extra blanket from my closet.

I climbed into my bed and pulled all my blankets around me, yet I still felt cold without my furnace. I sat up and turned to look at him where he stood in the doorway, he looked like a lost puppy.

He took a step closer and watched my reaction... he was still naked. I closed my eyes as I got out of bed and walked across the hall to my brother's room. I grabbed a package of his unopened boxers and a pair of his sweatpants. I put them in my mats arm as I walked back into my room.

He quickly put them on as I walked back into my room. He slipped them on as I flicked on the Tv, he walked over to me as I put on the Office. He sat down on the edge of my bed not taking his eyes off me.

I just stayed silent keeping my eyes forward, ignoring him. The next thing I knew the light was coming through my windows. I sat up and looked around the room, no sign of him.

"Mate is gone" Artie whimpered as I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. Not a sign of any of them, "they all left this morning" my mom told me from the doorway of the living room. I walked into her arms as my tears started flowing, he left me.

"A pack has breached the border!" I heard my father growl as he ran through the living room, both of my brothers following him.

I threw off my sweatshirt before running outside and shifting, I ran with my family into the fighting. I went for their necks, bringing them down one by one, I let Cullen take the final blow.

My brothers at my back, we protected one another. Thomas charged for a wolf larger than himself, I went to help him but I was too late. I changed at him, ripping out his jugular before shifting and grabbing my little brother, Cullen kept fighting as I ran home.

I set my little brother on the sofa as I ran to get bandages "Stay with me it's going to be okay" he was already starting to heal. Soon enough he was asleep and no longer bleeding, he was still alive.

"Bay we need you," My father said his voice cracking. I threw on my hoodie and a pair of shorts before running in my human form to my pack.

the two alphas and their higher ranking members were shifted. I walked to Cullen's side, he was crying just as I was. "Not going to happen" my father growled. "The daughter of the Huntress as my son's mate for peace," the other alpha said making my father laugh.

"Cullen get Bay and Thomas out of the territory," my father said through our link. Cullen took my hand and we were off.
