Blood clot and Surgery

Yasmin's POV

Everyone was here in the living room watching a movie and we all decided to have a day of No worries and chill, I was laying in my Dads lap while he stroked my hair and watching the movie which was Wreck-It Ralph.... Later on that night Uncle Stefan ordered pizza and while we waited on the pizza to get here we decided to talk about random stuff, "so Yasmin have you kissed anyone recently? Caroline asked smiling at me while I blushed, "I kissed Dre I said looking at my friends Chastity and Serenity which was smiling at me, "I knew it Dre said y'all talked and he kissed you Serenity said looking at me smiling, "that's what he was talking about he called me the other night excited talking about you Yasmin and I couldn't understand anything Bonnie said looking at me smiling while everyone laughed I just hid my face in my thick blankets, "its alright to be in love Daddy said teasingly rubbing my back while I groaned, "I didn't mean for it to happen we just leaned in and then before I knew we we're kissing I said sitting up from my fathers lap sitting Indian style on the couch, "I think its cute that you like someone Uncle Stefan said smiling whole Daddy nodded his head, "if he hurts you I'll kill him Daddy said smirking evilly, "yeah we'll tell him to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid Chastity said her eyes wide, "good Daddy said while the door bell rung and the smell of pizza filled the room.... we all ate pizza while watching another movie (use your imagination) getting sleepy I leaned on my father going to sleep knowing I had a a doctors appointment in the morning.

Damon's POV

I noticed that Yasmin fell asleep so I picked her up and went upstairs to her room tucking her in then kissed her head going to my room and went to bed.... The next morning I woke up then went to wake my daughter up making her breakfast and did her hair in a normal poofy ponytail seeing everyone woke and dressed I went back upstairs got dressed in a black shirt and black jeans and leather boots along with my famous leather jacket going downstairs seeing my daughter in blue joggers and a pink shirt with pink converse waiting on the couch patiently I could tell she was nervous bending down to her level grabbing her face gently, "I know your nervous don't worry OK? I said looking at her now greenish\gray eyes which shined beautifully in the sunlight, she just nodded and hugged me I just picked her up ad hugged her tighter kissing her head then putting her down we left for the hospital everyone followed us; we walked inside the hospital I signed the papers and we waited patiently I could tell Yasmin was nervous her leg was shacking, "everything is going to be fine I said to my daughter while signing the last of the papers going to the front counter walking back to my daughter grabbing her hands gently, "I'm scared Yasmin mumbled her hands shaking, "I know hospitals are scary to you but I promise nothing bad going to happen I said while she nodded her head with a small smile, "Yasmin Salvatore the nurse said getting everyone's attention I grabbed my daughters hand and we followed the nurse.... Yasmin's weight was good her height was still short (5"1) now it was time for the hands on stuff, she checked my daughters body saying it was alright but stopped at her stomach causing my daughter to flinch, "does it hurt when I touch your tummy? the nurse asked looking at me then my daughter in worry, "kind of Yasmin said whimpering when the nurse touched her stomach I grabbed her hand letting her squeeze it, "I have to take some blood to see if there's anything hopefully not but if there is we want to see while its small the nurse said while I nodded in agreement, the nurse got needles and other stuff, "alright baby girl you need to be completely still for this OK? The nurse said looking at my daughter with sympathy, "Yasmin baby look at me its going to be OK I said holding her hand leaning down kissing her head and stroking her hair whispering in her ear, the nurse took her blood causing tears to fall from Yasmin's face I just stroked her hair kissing her face trying to comfort her as much as I could, "I'll be back with the results your family is allowed to come in if you want the nurse said while I nodded my head while comforting my daughter, "it hurts Yasmin whimpered tears falling down her face, "I know baby I'm so proud of you for being strong I said hearing the door open seeing my brother and the others walk in, "hey baby girl we brought food for you and I stole a blood bag for you Damon Stefan said handing me the blood bag and the bag of food for Yasmin, "are you hungry baby? I asked my daughter, "No Yasmin whispered I just nodded drinking the blood bag and giving some to Yasmin making at least drink some blood, throwing away the evidence.... After awhile that nurse walked in the room with a female doctor following behind, "we have some bad news the nurse said looking at me, "your daughter has a blood clot as big as a Orange the doctor, "what are you saying? I asked seriously, "we're going to take her into the ER and do surgery to remove the clots the doctor said while I nodded my head; everyone said their goodbyes then I walked up to my daughter kissing all over her face causing her to give me a small weak giggle, "can you come with me? Yasmin asked looking at me, "I wish but I can't but I'll be waiting out here with everyone else I said kissing her head, "stay strong princess we'll be waiting for you I said kissing my daughter again then nodding to the nurse and doctor while they nodded back tears in their eyes taking her to the ER "she'll be OK Damon she's you in her mothers body Stefan said joking causing me to give her a small smirk, "yeah she is strong I said sitting down in the chair Yasmin was in, "you guys can wait in here the nurse said coming back into the room, "thank you for taking care of my daughter I said grateful for the nurse, "anytime the nurse said smiling at me then walking at the room.... We waited all day and it was now 12am and everyone was asleep other than Me and Stefan, "Mr Salvatore your daughter is done with her surgery and she's now sleeping peacefully the nurse said while I nodded my head then went to my daughters room seeing her asleep a IV in her hand and the heart monitor beeping in a steady beat, I just sat down in a chair pulling it up to her bed and held her hand falling asleep thankful that my babes alright.

The next morning I woke up to someone shaking me opening my eyes I saw Yasmin smiling at me, "how do you feel? I asked looking while holding her hand, "sore but I'm fine Yasmin said smiling, "that's good to hear I said getting up kissing her head hearing the door open and seeing everyone walk in, "I'm so happy your OK Blondie said hugging Yasmin causing her to whence, "sorry Caroline mumbled moving next to me, "its OK Yasmin said smiling at the blonde vampire, "Daddy do you still have to food from yesterday I'm hungry and can I have some blood? Yasmin asked looking at me, "I bought you and your father a blood bag and some food along with some clothes Stefan said handing me a bag, looking inside I saw my clothes and a leather jacket and boots and Yasmin's Unicorn onesie and Unicorn fluffy, I took a shower then helped Yasmin then I put her hair in two braided ponytails and drunk my blood bag seeing Yasmin do the same while eating her food; after we finished I put our empty blood bags back in the bag then we brushed our teeth then waited for the nurse or doctor; after waiting for 2 hours the door opened and the nurse came in with a smile, "well I see your up the nurse said smiling at my daughter while Yasmin smiled at the nurse, "I got your medicine and your going to have to take that for two months along with the antibiotic don't take them together take them two hours apart in which order you want the and to warn you they'll make her drowsy Dad so make sure she has food in her tummy before she takes her medicine the nurse said while I nodded, "thank you for everything you've done including getting her medicine I said shaking the nurse hand, "anytime oh my names Bethany the nurse said doing at me, "Damon I said shaking her hand again then she shook Stefan's hand then left, "well let's get home I said smiling at everyone helping Yasmin on her feet grabbing her hand and we walked out the hospital and went home.... Once we got home I gave Yasmin her medicine along with some Orange juice helping her to bed kissing her head, "I love you I said stroking her cheeks, "love you too Daddy Yasmin said smiling at me then yawn snuggling in her bed falling asleep I just bent down kissing her face then walked out her room to the living getting some Bourbon and lit
the fireplace sitting down grateful that my babes OK and praying for nothing like this will ever happen again; finishing my Bourbon I went up to Yasmin's room checking on her, seeing she was OK but deciding to stay in her room I sat down on the window seat and watched her sleep like the Angel she is.
