Yasmin's POV

I was getting ready for school then I went downstairs seeing my Dad and Rose making out. "good morning guys" I said walking past them they stopped kissing and looked at me annoyed while I laughed going to the kitchen getting a nutria-grain bar going back into the parlor seeing my Dad up getting a drink and Rose sitting down on the couch reading a book. "be careful see you later" Dad said looking at me while played with my car keys. "see you guys after school" I said while dad hugged me kissing my head. I hugged back then went outside to my car driving to school.... once I got to school I parked my car next to Chasity's that was next to Serenity's that was in the middle of mine and Dre's who was next to a car similar to mine only blue and the person it belonged to was in it but got out when I walked passed her car.

"Excuse me can you help me get to the office?" the girl asked looking at me through her shades. "yeah sure I have to go to the office anyway" I said looking at her while she nodded and smiled at me taking her shades off then walked inside the school she got her schedule while I got the boxes for new uniforms for the volleyball after getting a text message from our coach. while walking to the gym the girl walked behind me which made me feel uncomfortable so I stopped and looked at her annoyed. "alright how are you and why are you following me?" I asked looking at her. "my name is Ellie I'm here not only to meet you but because my Uncle is here in town" she said looking at me. "who's your Uncle?" I asked looking at her putting the boxes down staring at her. "My name is Ellie Mikaelson. daughter of the evil hybrid Klaus Mikaelson and a witch my father met in New Orleans" the girl now known as Ellie. "wait a minute your the daughter of the evil hybrid that trying to kill my friend Elena to lift a course that was put on him a thousand years ago!?" I said looking at her shocked. "yup which makes me a tribrid just like you. but then again your more then just a tribrid your a phoenix and a very powerful one" Ellie said looking at me. "then you know I can kill you?" I asked seriously. "I know you can but I want to help you protect Elena what my father wants to do is wrong please trust me" she said pleading with me. "Its not me you have to ask to trust. come on your gonna be on the volleyball team you do know how to play right?" I asked while she nodded her head then we went to the gym dropping off the boxes then we went back to the front office getting her schedule changed making it look the same as mine so now we'll have the classes.

After school we went to the grill seeing my Dad and Rose was at the bar so we went over to them; they weren't paying attention so I went over to them putting my head on my Dads arm he looked down at me putting his arm around me. "Hey baby how was school?" he asked looking down at me. "Promise you won't get mad?" I asked looking up at my father then at Rose who was staring at Ellie. "why would I get mad?" Dad asked looking into my eyes but I broke eye contact looking over at Ellie. "We got a new girl at school her name is Ellie" I said while Dad looked at me confused. "Why would I be mad?" He asked looking at me confused. "Her full name is Ellie Mikaelson?" I said quietly knowing he heard me. "Yasmin Amelia Gracie Salvatore! please tell me you did not just say Mikaelson?" Dad asked getting off the stool he was sitting on now standing in front of me he grabbed my arm taking me to the girls restroom closing the door locking it behind us. "Who is she and why is she here?" Dad asked looking at me. "She wants to help protect Elena and she knows what I am" I said looking at him while he looked at me shocked. "what do you mean she knows what you are?" He asked looking at me. "Her mom was a witch and Her Dad is Klaus who is a hybrid of both vampire and werewolf which makes her a tribrid of Vampire, witch and werewolf." I said looking up at my father who looked angry yet calm. "Somehow I'm a tribrid and much more I don't know what that means all I know is I'm a vampire, shapeshifter and phoenix witch." I said looking at my father who looked at me nodding his head. "you know I don't trust easy so if she hurts you she's dead" Dad said looking at me I smiled at him jumping into his arms hugging him. "you know I love you this isn't only about Elena this is about you as well." Dad said holding me while I laid my head on his chest. "Love you too Daddy" I said then we let go of each other leaving the bathroom I told asked Ellie did she have a place to go and she said she didn't so she followed us to the Salvatore house.

Once we got home I helped our new guest into a room next to mine then we introduced her to everyone then we called Elijah which they were happy to see each other again. I got to know Ellie more when she asked could we watch a movie in my room so I got us some snacks then went back to my room we talked she told me her favorite color is blue and she could make her eyes change red I told her I could make mine turn black, pink and purple then I showed her my tail which she touch but I didn't flinch. "your purring" Ellie said smiling at me. "my Dad is the only one who touches my tail" I said looking at her. "you were born December 12th 1901 a year after me." Ellie said looking at me. "you were born September 24th 1200 I read your mind at school." I said eating a sour gummy worm while she ate a bag of cheetos finishing our movie we then cleaned my room went brushed our teeth then went downstairs seeing my Dad, Uncle, and Elijah. I sat in my Dads lap laying my head on his chest. "your sleepy?" Dad said stroking my hair while I nodded. "can we stay home from school I don't want to go?" I asked doing my puppy eyes. "I don't mind I'll get Ric to bring yall's things by." Dad said while I nodded closing my eyes falling into a deep much needed sleep.

Damon's POV

I saw that my daughter was asleep then looked over seeing my daughters new friend was asleep on Elijah so we got up taking the girls to their rooms I kissed my daughter then Stefan kissed her then we went back downstairs. "My niece will protect your daughter from my brother I promise you that" Elijah said looking at me and Stefan. "I don't want to see my daughter hurt she's been through so much already" I said looking at the original. "No harm will come to anyone and I see your daughter has taken to my niece so nothing will happen to anyone of them you have my word" Elijah said while I nodded getting a drink. "Do you trust Ellie and Elijah?" My brother asked getting himself a drink. "Not for a second but if Yasmin trust mini Klaus then I have to, as for Elijah not for a second when it comes to family you'll drop everything to save them" I said finishing my drink putting my glass down. "Goodnight brother" I said going upstairs hearing him say goodnight I went to my room seeing Rose asleep in my bed then I went to my daughters seeing her asleep with Oreo in her arms and her covers off her body so she might've got hot so I walked over to Yasmin's bed kissing her head and moving her hair away from her face. "I know I'm not the best father and I hurt you so much but I'm here trying to make it up to you now. You mean the world to me and I promise I'll never let anyone or anything hurt you" I said I could tears falling down my face. "I love you so damn much; things will get complicated but they'll get easier" I said stroking my daughters hair she moved close to me in her sleep which was adorable. "My baby girl who would thought a evil,selfish, cold hearted, cold blooded murderer like me would get someone loving, kind and caring for a daughter" I said remembering all the times I killed, abused and hurt my daughter but she still stayed positive and loves me. "Never again will anyone including me will hurt you again" I said holding onto my daughter then left going into my room taking a shower then went into bed with Rose.

No ones POV

What Damon didn't know Yasmin was up the whole time listening to her father speak about himself and about her with tears in her eyes.
It hurt the youngest Salvatore to hear her father talk about himself that way knowing of all the years of abuse, heartache, and ongoing pain from others around him that's what blacken his heart and made him into the cold blooded cold hearted selfish murderer he was today but he took time to raise his 14 year old daughter caring and loving her.

Yasmin Salvatore has been through hell and back feeling neglected and unloved by the one person who now loves and is hella overprotective of her but it doesn't bother her cause she has her family to take care of her and now she has a new friend who she cares for.
