Yasmin POV

I was outside shooting arrows thinking about my dark past shooting all bull eyes while my Uncle and father walked outside, "you ok? Dad asked looking at me while I shot another arrow, "ok I answered not looking at them, "are you sure? you've been quiet and to yourself Uncle Stefan asked looking at me in concern, "is that wrong?I asked with no emotion, "No but we're worried about you Dad said while I shot another arrow causing the previous arrow to split in half, "baby stop for a minute and talk to us Dad said grabbing my arm I looked at his hand then up at him, "ever sense you told us your secret you've been quiet we're worried Uncle Stefan said while I looked up at them, "I'm sorry I can't be the way y'all want me to be I snapped grabbing two arrows and shot them landing a bulls eye then turned to them the walked off going to the woods practicing with my swords and daggers.

Damon's POV

I know we upset her but she hid it so well and it worried me, "what's wrong with her? Stefan asked looking at me while I slowly turned facing him, "she's struggling with her emotions she's not used to people being worried or caring" I said which broke my heart to say out loud, "we love and care about her Stefan said looking shocked, "do we brother? We've been taking care of Elena and completely ignoring my daughter putting her off to the side so we could be at Elena's aid I said looking at my brother, "we haven't been paying that much attention to Elena Stefan said like the idiot he is, "not only are you a idiot but your also blind I said to my brother walking to the woods following my daughters sent finding her sitting on the ground crying so I walked over to her Stefan following and I picked her up handing her things to my brother and we vamp sped home I sat on the couch with her in my lap listening to her cry holding her tight.... When she calmed down she wiped her face with her hands getting out my lap sitting on the couch next to me, "what's wrong baby? I asked concerned about my daughter, "I know that I'm different but I can't help to be lonely or different I'm sorry to be a disappointment to you and Uncle Stefan my daughter said while I grabbed he's face in my hands making her look at me, "don't you ever say that ever again yes your different but your never a disappointment to me or stefan we love you not only for being different but for being a loving kind person you are do you understand!? I said while my daughter nodded her head tears falling down her face, "do you understand? I said again waiting for her answer, "yes sir Yasmin said while I pulled her into a hug causing her to flinch but hugged back; when I let go Stefan sat on the couch and pulled her into a hug, "we love you never forget how much you mean to us Stefan said hugging her tightly, "I just don't want to be lonely anymore! Yasmin said letting go of Stefan getting back into my arms I hugged her again, "your never lonely we're here and I promise you that you'll never be second to anyone ever again I said pulling her back into my lap kissing her head while she put her head on my chest her breathing slowed down which meant she fell asleep so I took her to her room tucking her in then went downstairs seeing my brother with a two cups handing one to me, "I'm sorry for hurting her Damon? my brother said looking over at me, "I forgive you I just want us to stick together in the time of need like today but I don't want her to think that we don't care and love her I said looking at my brother, "so does that mean No more eternity of misery from you? Stefan asked looking at me, "No cause if we show Yasmin that we can't get along then she'll think we don't care about each other and we don't need or want that I said getting another drink drinking it then went to check on my daughter seeing she was still sleep so I layed next to her pulling her close to me kissing her head then got out of her bed and walked back downstairs seeing Elena and Stefan talking, "how's Yasmin? Elena asked looking up at me, "she's good I said sitting down on the chair putting my legs on the arms, "she's going through something right now so she's not going to go anywhere I said looking at the two, "what happen? Elena asked looking at me and Stefan with concerned looks Stefan was about to tell her but I cut him off, "nothing that concerns you I said looking at the gilbert girl, "what do you mean it has nothing that concerns me? Elena asked looking at me, "what I just said I said looking at my brothers girlfriend, "did you at least ask her what was wrong or did you ignore her like every other time? Elena asked boldly, "we talked to her and we don't ignore her Stefan said, "yeah we do cause we're always saving your ass I said looking at Elena who looked shocked that I was talking to her the way I was, "I never asked y'all to save me all the time Elena said while Yasmin came downstairs she looked around the room but when her eyes landed on me she walked over to me sitting in my lap laying on my chest, "you still sleepy? I asked kissing my daughters head, "a little she said pulling her phone out texting her friends about something, "what's that? I asked looking at her phone, "chastity and Serenity wanted to know if I could go to a friends party  Yasmin said giving me her phone I read the messages, "Yasmin you know how I feel about you going to party's I said looking at her seriously she just sighed texting them back.  "even if you didn't asked us to save you we still have to put our lives on the line to save you when you keep being stupid and doing stupid things like trying to give yourself up to Klaus I said looking back at the doppelganger, "to keep y'all safe Elena said, "we can keep ourselves safe its you who needs protection I said stroking my daughters hair listening to her purr, "Yasmin do you want to hang out sometime? Elena asked smiling at me, "sure but I want to stay home today my daughter said snuggling into my chest and she was asleep again, "let's stop talking my daughters tired I'm tired everyone's tired I said getting up carrying Yasmin to my room laying her on my bed while I took a shower and then layed next to her holding her close.

The next day was a calm day but I kept my daughter close to me when we went to the grill and watched her eat her food, "Daddy can we go home? My daughter asked looking up at me, "you OK? I asked in concern, "I don't want to be around all these people right now Yasmin said looking up at me, I just nodded my head and put a twenty down for a tip an we left the grill going home, "if you wanted to stay home we could of I said while Yasmin sat on the couch with her legs under her chin looking at the fire, "what's wrong baby? I asked walking over to her grabbing her face making her look at me, "nothing I just got stuck in thought my daughter said her eyes shining with the fire.... All day we watched movies and laughed at the stupid things that happened then  at night I tucked her in and kissed her head, "goodnight baby I said stroking her face and hair, "goodnight Daddy my daughter said falling in I kissed her head again then went to my room taking a relaxing bubble bath then went to check on my daughter then I went to bed.
