Sometimes The Good Guy Does Win!

(Chapter 10) What A Small World.

Cherry Hill (California)

11:25am (Morning)

The mall is a chilled placed to hang out in Cherry Hill California. Especially on your day off! Girls are everywhere, not to mention. You have a food court to go to when your starving.

That's exactly what Jasper just got done doing, eating. And boy was it good! A huge slice of sausage & cheese pizza always got the job done. Wiping his mouth with the napkins he was given, he stands and throw the trash in the recycle bin.

The place was crowded with people of different ages and sizes. Some in groups of friends and some with family.

He came for more art supplies and some wood for a project he decided to put together while he was at it because he was working on something he hoped he could win Nicole over with.

He needed to find away pass or around her I hate poor people mentality. Walking over towards the art supplies store area he look up the names of the store over the doors.

The name 'Mystery Ink' art store catches his attention!

"Hm? Wonder what all they sell in here?" Jasper thinkout loud to himself.

Going inside he sees it's a dark purple and blue colored themed store which look to be glowing from the walls.

Looking around at all the different isles of art he could choose from.
Jasper felt like he was in geek heaven.

Something in particular catches his attention. "Ah'ha!!!" He acknowledges his product before grabbing it.

"Now to grab that wood " Jasper comments.

Looking to purchase the cutest clothes she could find for pregnant chicks. Nicole stands and waits for her credit card to reign through! Giving her the receipt after it went through she grabs her bags with Annie grabbing the rest behind her.

"Okay! I better see you actually wearing these clothes too." Annie grumbles behind Nicole.

She hated going shopping with Nicole sometimes because she always grab more then she needed and never wore half the crap she got.

"Of course I will wear them. Why wouldn't I?" She ask not really caring for an answer.

"B-Because you always do that!" She grunts from all the extra bags.

Looking over she notices Jasper coming from out of a store. "Hey look? it's the drug store guy." Annie calls out.

Looking behind her she notices Jasper as well and groans not really wanting to deal with him. "Shit!" She hisses

Looking for somewhere to hide, but it's too late Jasper already looked over and noticed them and begin heading their way.

"What a small world." Jasper greets before he looks over at Nicole and then at Annie who nods her head in agreement while smiling like a lunatic.

"Not really." Nicole replies annoyed.

Jasper ignores her jab at him and continue to be civil with her.

"Congrats!" Jasper reply.

Nicole ignores him and begins to walk away on her way out of the mall  Annie struggles with her load if bags while trying to keep up with Nicole.

"Need some help with those bags?" Jasper ask Annie.

"Yes please." Annie reply trying to keep a grip on the bags.

Jasper takes off the load by grabbing his fair share of it. Relieved Annie begins to follow Nicole towards the exit of the mall

Seeing them together is interesting to say the least Annie never seen someone who could handle Nicole the way Jasper does! Not even Dave is able to get under Nicole skin to this magnitude.

"Thanks!" Jasper nods in understanding walking besides them.

This irritates Nicole getting her to stop and face Jasper with her signature scowl.

"What are you doing? And stop encouraging him." She snips annoyed at Annie

"What? What are we doing so wrong? he only wants to help." Annie defended herself with a voice that sounded a lot like amusement.

Staring at Annie, Nicole scowl shows she was not in the mood for games. Looking the splitting image of her mother.

Jasper decides to intervene in their conversation.

"Since you've already told her everything about that night I guess there will be no point in holding back what I have to say." Her scowl now aimed his way once more!

"I know your pregnant and I'm a possible father candidate. I want to be there for him or her. At least until we could figure out who the father is. Me or Dave" Jasper jumps to the point.

"No thank you! I have this on my own." Nicole stubbornly tries to push him away.

"I'm sorry but it's not that simple. I will not abandoned my possible kid until I know for shore it's not nine." Jasper argues back.

"How dare you call my child an it!" Nicole snaps out in anger at Jasper.

"Hey? She or he's my child too! You didn't make them on your own." Jasper argues back tired of Nicole crap.

"It's not guarantee its a possibility don't forget Dave. She or he could be his also." Nicole throws back at him harshly.

"Well we'll both be there until the DNA test comeback with her DNA as one of ours. I'm staying around until then." Jasper argues back giving as good a reason as she is about him might be wasting his time.

Sighing she sees she can't win against him right now! Besides she's too tired to really argue with him at the moment.

"Come on Annie we have better things to do with our time then talk to the help." Smiling at her retreating Jasper gives a parting word.

"I'll see you later! Could be mother of my child." With that he turns and leave them both staring after him. Annie amused and Nicole Pissed.

"Note to self try and stay away from him at all times." Nicole mumbles to Herself.

"And you!? I know you some how got your hand in this." Nicole turns her anger at Annie.

Annie smile drops before she responds. "What? How is this my fault?"

"Because it's some how just is. Now let's go before I turn around and kill that bastard." Nicole screams.

They both hops into Annie's car and leave the mall back to Nicole's place.
