After spending his day at the mall buying supplies for his little project he was creating for Nicole, the day went by fairly well until after dinner the last thing he expected was to get a scolding from his mother.

She was fine one minute all happy go lucky about her day at the job and then out of nowhere she mentions her patient who was pregnant and then turned a full one eighty on him about responsible and that his

Taste in women suck and he need to look for church mouses not T-Rex dinosaur based women.

He knew she wasn't happy about being a possible grandma at forty! But apparently she met her today at the hospital and she was very loud rude and talked like a stoned guy to herself and the other doctors.

"What did you see in her besides looking extremely beautiful? God! I wish your taste in women was better." Tanya continues to scold him.

It was her day to do the dishes so when she asked the question she wasn't expecting to actually get an answer.

"Well she's different! She's not cliche, that's what makes her interesting! She's a mystery mom." Jasper argues back.

Tanya turns away from the dishes and face her son after hearing his excuse.

"Well that's stupid! She is loud and obnoxious. I really hope it's the baby that's making her that way, and not her actual personality. Why couldn't you possibly knock up the one with sense in her head?" Tanya whines holding her head like a migraine is forming.

"Ugh!!! I'm going to need a strong drink after the day i just had." Tanya mutters.

Jasper sighs exhaustion taking over as he stands to put his plate in the dish washer. "Well if it makes you feel any better! At least I was drunk when it happened." Jasper tries to lighten the mood.

"No! It doesn't make me feel better. In fact I'm not okay with you drinking at all! But since you are practically an adult I don't have a say in the matter." Tanya responds with her back to him pouring herself a cup of wine.

He ignores her rant and clean out his own dish, he hates dirty environments since he's a bit of a neat freak.

He also prefer things to be done in alphabetical order if possible. Finishing his dish he turns to leave only to come face to face with his mother teary eyed staring at him.

"Are you okay?" He ask confused.

"Y-Yes!" Her voice cracks.

Her face red with quivering lips Tanya tries to be strong while explaining her behavior.

"I uh? I saw the baby in the x-ray today. God I forgot how small you guys start off before you grow, Y'know? And to think that, that tiny pea is possibly going to grew into becoming my grandson or Granddaughter? is heart warming, and yet! heart breaking at the same time."She wipe her tears as they slide down her cheeks.

She wipes the access tears away before continuing on with what she has to say.

"Because I loved it the minute I seen it just by the possibility of it being something from you. But heart broken because you guys are still babies! Your lives have only begun and your bringing a baby along for the ride way to soon." She rambles on through her soft sobs.

Staring with rapt attention Jasper expression takes on a look of guilt for doing this to his mother.

He pulls her into his arms comforting her because he knows how hard this is for her.

She struggled with single parenting since his father vanished on them.

If he could help it? his possible child will never experience what it's like to not have a father in his or her life. Kissing her on the top of her brunette locks he pulls back to look her in her green eyes.

"Mom? You taught me so much growing up. You gave me loads of knowledge for me to do as I please with it. I made a mistake six weeks ago! And now I'm trying to amend to that mistake by stepping up and being there for him or her." Jasper states sounding like an adult and not like the baby boy she was used too.

"I know I'm still basically a kid in your eyes. But this baby could teach me to be responsible for all my own actions. Do I have your full trust and faith in me to do the right thing by this child?" He ask in all seriousness.

Smiling at the adult he's become Tanya nods as her eyes tear up again but this time in happiness. She pulls him into a powerful hug.

"Of course! I never meant to make it sound like I didn't believe you could man up and raise this child." Tanya speak while hugging her son tightly.

Finally pulling apart after their hug and heart to heart conversation, He yarns then stand up on his feet.

"I think I'm a call it a night. Sleep tight and Love you." Jasper greets her farewell.

"Sleep tight love you too." Tanya respond still sitting on the couch.

He turns and leave into his bedroom to let her enjoy her night alone how she loves it at times.

She smiles thinking of the nice man he grew into. Nicole should be happy she got knocked up by someone who actually cares about the baby! She seen to many young mothers who baby's father left them pregnant and alone.

It's much easier to have someone help you raise the kid then doing it alone. She should know she had to do it for eighteen years.

Drinking her last sip she decided to call it a night as well. Even though she has the next day off, she don't want to wake up hung over.

Taking the wine bottle she put it away and left the wine glass on the kitchen counter promising to clean it and the rest of the dishes when she awakens in the morning!
