Sometimes The Good Guy Does Win!

(Chapter 14) Helping A Friend In Need.

She arrives at her only and last destination! Annie's home. The home of her best friend in the whole world!

"This place is my last salvation." Nicole mutters.

Sniffing herself she could smell she reeked of sex and sweat from her final gift to Dave.

She could go for a nice shower right about now and now her body aches from the sexual workout she and Dave put on at his place.

Climbing out of her car she knocks on her door without grabbing her luggage because that didn't go so well the last time she tried it.

Annie opens the door to find her friend a mess! Her blonde locks frizzled on her head, her sclera were very pink. Her clothes looked wrinkled and worn like she just put them on.

"Oh my god! What happened to you?" Annie asked pulling her friend into a powerful hug.

Nicole hugs her back as her eyes reteared up. "I got kicked out of my house, could I stay here with you? I have no place else to go." She brokeningly asked.

"Yeah! Sure did you bring, Your stuff?" Annie asked.

"Yeah 'Sniff' it's in the trunk!" Nicole answered through her tears.

"Okay let's go and get it." Annie sympathizes.

They both head back out towards her large yard to get the luggage out of the trunk of Nicole car.

"So what happened?" Annie ask.

"Could we talk about it when we get inside?"Nicole ask.

"Yeah sure." Annie reply.

After retrieving the luggage of clothes they both head inside where Nicole goes into the bathroom to shower and change her clothes.

Annie walks up to her mom! A beautiful long haired brunette colored woman with big hazel eyes she look to be in her early forties, her figure is very athletic like she plays a lot of sports.

"Hey Mom? Nicole was just kicked out by her mom so I said it was okay for her to live with us for a while." She let her mom know.

Her mother turns from the fridge and replies.

"Okay sure! It's fine. But is Nicole okay?" She asks worried for the girl.

Victoria Divuchi is a very nice and out going mom who even though grew into money never let it turn her into a bitter person. She showed compassion to anyone and everyone around her.

When she heard that Nicole was pregnant she felt sorry for the girl because she new how Susan Nicole's mom was going to react when she did find out! She would put that clothing company before her own kid sake.

And it looked like she was right.

Her and Susan had been rivals since high school years! She grew out of it Susan not so much.

"Tell Nicole that she could stay here for as long as she needs to." Victoria says.

"Thanks! Mom, I will." Annie reply before going back into the room.

Walking into her room. She sees Nicole already out and dressed in a long black t shirt with some black boy shorts on. Her favorite type of bottom fabric since she been pregnant!

Her hair is frizzy wet climbing on Annie bed with her legs folded and bare foot.

"Your out! That was kind of the fastest I ever saw you get out of the shower." Annie try joking to lighten the mood.

Nicole gives off a very small smile in reply but it drops as fast as it came.

"Okay? What's the matter? It's more then just moving out of your parents place isn't it?" She ask sitting down facing Nicole on her own bed.

Moving her wet hair behind her ear, she looks down at the mattress before saying what's on her mind.

"I permanently ended things with Dave today." She softly admits.

This confuses Annie a bit. "I thought you already ended things with that asshole?" Nicole cringes at Annie choice of words.

Playing with a small thread on the bed Nicole explains.

"Well he called me today about meeting to talk! So I agreed to see him to talk, ya know? To try and rekindle what we messed up together?" She explained her eyes focusing on everything but Annie.

" So when I had the falling out with my parents. I went over to his place he comforted me and I may have slept with him right after." She cringe at herself for being an idiot!

But in her defense she was horny and he was shirtless and dripping wet.

"After the amazing sex! He asked what was wrong and I explained to him what happened, but he said I couldn't stay with him. So I finally exploded on him and told him we're done for good this time then I came over here to you." She explained finally focusing her azure blue eyes on Annie.

"Woah? I guess this is Some day you had huh?" Annie asked at a lost for words.

"You could say that again! But I am exhausted. I think I will take a nice long nap and then I will eat something afterwards if I can."Nicole mumbles to herself her fatigue wearing thin.

Standing up so she could lay down for her nap! Annie steps back before she says.

"Yeah maybe a nap is what you need for yourself and the baby." Turning she leave Nicole to herself.

Nicole lays down comfortably in Annie bed and closes her blue eyes soon Nicole is soon gone to the world of dreams.

The place looked like a nice three bedroom condo home the walls were gold and creme colored all over the living room, dinning room, and front room area there was also a huge black and silver marbled kitchen

The bedrooms were a mystery because they were closed while she stood in the front room area! A large flat screen tv decorated the place with a giant fire place activated with a cozy fire.

There were two matching couches and a matching love seat a creme and gold color a nice plant sat in the corner on the room giving it a homie feel.

Little foot steps caught Nicole attention looking back she spots two people in front of her a taller figure that looked male

It was hard to tell who it was because his face were blurred. "Mommy?" The little voice called out caught her attention.

Next to the mysterious man figure stood a beautiful little girl with long dirty blonde hair in two buns on her head she had Nicole features all but the eyes....

They were Emerald Green!
