(Chapter 3) One Month Reunion.

Working in a drug store could be quite a chore! Especially when you see folk come in here to buy condoms... Like senior citizen's.

"Eh!" Jasper gags out loud.

With a sour facial expression Jasper mind wonders back to all the gross older folk he seen come here since he started working here.

He saw quite a few come in here to get the gluv'n for some luv'n, 'well at least somebody is getting some.' he thinks.

He landed this job behind the register because the last guy was caught stealing. That guy had the whole bad boy thing going for himself.

So they just assumed he gets a lot of action with the freaky stuff he was stealing. Like lube and condoms, Vaseline and other verities that kept coming up missing.

They saw him with his wild brunette locks lanky six-foot two frame with his dark frame glasses and just thought 'Hey? He's a virgin let's higher him.' Well new flash for them he's not a virgin anymore.

Looking bored out of his mind because of how slow time flies by when he sits here he closes his green eyes. 'ding!' The door bell raddles a sign that someone has entered the store.

But Jasper keeps his head down and wave at the customer's as they walk around to the back thinking it was just some old pervert coming to buy something else.

Walking in the back of the store Nicole and Annie walk over to the pregnancy test isle to search for the most accurate one.

"Why am I here again?" Nicole whines crossing her arms with a pout on her face.

"Because you could or could not be knocked up, but we want to make sure." Annie reminds her while looking over the instructions on the tests.

"No! I know that I meant why did I have to come with you? I could have stayed like at home or something." Nicole reply.

Her cold blue eyes looking away from the test at nothing in particular while crossing her arms over her chest scowling.

"Because if it's not true and your just gaining weight from eating to much now will be a good time to start the exercise." Annie lightly joke with Nicole.

Nicole not finding it very funny just glares at her with her cold blue eyes before looking down at her two feet.

"Not funny."Nicole mutters.

"Sour puss." Annie mutters back.

Sitting up right at the counter after hearing who entered his work place Jasper tries to act cool! But is failing miserably.

A sheen of sweat glides down the side of his temple from being nervously close to the one woman who he slept with a month ago! And the humid hot air he had wet dreams about what possibly happen that night.

Her moans and groans of pleasure and passionate love making echoed and haunted his wet dreams! He woke up with a hard on or in some cases he woke up to a sticky situation in his boxers.

Just hearing her voice was starting to turn him on. 'No! Stop being a pervert you four eyed idiot.' He scolds himself.

"Ah'ha!!! I found it come on girly let's pay for this and get you back home." Annie says placing her arms around Nicole shoulder guiding her back towards the register.

Placing the things on the register Nicole looks over noticing the cashier guy keeps staring at her wierdly.

Annoyed her right eyebrow lifts higher then the left in defiance she snaps out.

"You got a problem you want to solve pal?!"Nicole shouts.

Surprised at her out burst he respond.

"No!... You don't remember me do you?"Jasper ask.

Nicole stare at him confused not really caring about who he is.

"Should I?" Nicole ask.

Smiling which seem to irritate her more he shakes his head at how forgetful and shallow she could really be.

"You are unbelievable you know that?" He ring up their product.

"You better believe it buddy." She gloats about herself.

"The party a month ago?" He reminds her.

She glares at him cluelessly staring at him harder her blue eyes stare on unaware of what he was talking about her brain goes back to that night seeing a pair of dark framed glasses like the one the clerk wears before her.

Suddenly everything begin to click before she loses it. The glasses, the wild hair, and the lanky body.

"It's you!!!... This is all your fault! I thought I told you to stay away from me?" Snapped Nicole at a recoiling Jasper.

Trying to climb over the register Annie get in between them to keep her from hitting her could be baby bump.

"I work here, You could leave if you don't like it." Jasper snap at Nicole.

"You dare try kicking me out? You four eyed punk!!" Nicole shouts.

Annie pins Nicole back. "Hey how about you leave and let me handle this?" Annie intervenes.

Calming down she snatches away from Annie breathing heavily before fixing herself up then turn and stomps away to wait on Annie outside the store.

"What the hell is wrong with her? Is she crazy or something?" Jasper ask.

Holding his chest trying to gain oxygen back into his lungs.

"Sorry about that! It's the mood swings, I think she's preg preg." Annie reply kind of excited about the idea of being a god mother.

This shocks him that he almost knock over products since he thought it was for her and not Nicole. "Really? Uh? Congrats are in order I guess?" He tried acting excited for them.

"Thanks!" She reply a big smile plastered on her face.

But a loud voice cut through her happy time with the cute store clerk.

"ANNIE! COME ON NOW!!!" Nicole shouts impatiently interrupting their little chat.

Handing her the bag he smile at Annie."let me know how it goes and congrats."

She smile at him before taking the bag and leaves the store with Nicole walking away beside her.

"Took you long enough! I was burning up out here." Nicole whines.

Watching them leave towards a fancy looking vehicle Jasper smile begin too fall from his face which takes on more of a concerned expression.

could it be his? If it is would she let him be in the kids life? Would the baby look like him or her? Would it be a boy or a girl? Could he be a good dad since his father clearly wasn't? So many questions but no answer to any of them.

Getting a grip of himself he tries to ignore the fear that creeped up his spine about Nicole's pregnancy.

"No don't go there Jasper just get on with your life. She already has and she don't want you in it." He reasoned with himself.

Then why doesn't it feel like an ending but more like a beginning for something coming his way?
