Claire's P.O.V

The book was old and dusty. Almost as if it was untouched for years. I brushed my hand over the cover of it and pushed away and blew away a any remaining dust. Letting my self calm a bit, I opened the book. My nerves brimming over the top, anxiously awaiting the scripture that was written in this book.

Finally building enough courage, I have my eyes a tight squeeze and released a shaky sigh and began to go throw the book. The first few pages were pictures of the creatures that had believed were all just make believe-fake. The first page was of a mermaid. She was lying on a boulder under the sea. The monochromatic blues of the sea surrounding her as her gorgeous red hair floated around in the sea. Sunlight peaking through the surface and landing in her freckled cheeks. Her eyes seemed to be a glowing blue. Her tail stretched out for miles, indicated to me that if she was human she would be quite tall.

I flipped the page. The next picture was under water also - a siren. From the view of the picture it looked like she was swimming up to the surface to a ship, readying to sing her enchantment to the pirates up above.

Another turn and I stumbled upon the fairies. She was floating in a beautiful white gown, her translucent yet silvery wings sparkled slightly behind her in the midnight light. Surrounding her were smaller fairies- pixies. The pixies in dresses in an array of colours.

All of them with different coloured hair. One with red hair, she seemed to be casting a spell. Her magic aura surrounding her in a burst of orange, red and blue, almost like it represented flames.

Another with blue hair, she too was casting a spell, her aura was a soft blue, her hands were reaching forward and what looked like a burst of water was shooting from them.

The next one had green hair. Her magic glow was the monochromatic greens. Her eyes were glowing green and she too seemed to be casting a spell.

Vines.

Vines and rocks were floating around her. Directly below her were bunches of beautiful flowers of all colours. Some much taller than the others. There were lilies, roses, tulips all kinds of flowers.

The next pixie was a white gold. Or probably just a silver but white gold suited her hair colour much more. Her wings could hardly be seen behind the vicious winds she was creating from them.

I was awed by the fairy and pixies. I skimmed my fingers over them and a soft smiled played at my lips. They were just too adorable to be not given a second glance.

Then it hit me. It hit me hard. The different colours and different types of spells. It could only be one thing. It probably would have just flown right over my brain if I wasn't looking for some answers and help.

"They're elemental," I said to myself and gave the picture another long hard stare.

"That they are," a voice said that made me jump. Turning my head so quickly I almost got whiplash. My eyes widening on the process like I was a deer caught in headlights.

"Cade, you scared me," I sighed out and put a hand over my racing heart to calm it. He gave a light chuckle and sat cross legged from me then running a hand though his silky soft brown hair,

"How'd you find me?" I asked him before he could respond to my earlier statement. He just raised a brow at me, then realization seemed to hit him and he answered.

"I sniffed you out," he said with a laugh. I just stared dumbfounded at him. Like a grew a second head or something.

"Are you a dog or something?" My face was blank of any expression. Instead of giving me an explanation he just reached over and flipped the page of the book. The picture presented to me was a werewolf.
