My orchestra is playing this piece for festival so why not put it in here? Hopefully we get superior :) - Mad Dog

I woke up to the smell of coffee and the noise of pots being moved around in the kitchen. I slowly dragged myself out of bed and out of the room.
Liam and Mr. Bennet were already dressed and making breakfast. Liam saw me right away and frowned, "Why did you wake up!? I was going to bring in breakfast."
I chuckled and sat down at the counter, laying my head down, "Well if you were a little quieter I might have stayed asleep."
Mr. Bennet slid a mug of coffee to me, "Not a morning person, huh?"
"Definitely not. I enjoy sleep... when I can get it," I took a sip of coffee.
Liam wrapped his arms around me, "Why don't you go shower and get dressed while we finish breakfast? It might wake you up some more."
I nodded, "Fine... but I am still not going to be happy about waking up this early."
"It's 9 a.m.!"
I stood up and began making my way back into the bedroom, "Yeah, yeah... It's still early."
I made my shower quick and threw on some random clothes with a beanie because I was too lazy to fix my hair. When I made it back out of the room, Liam and Mr. Bennet were standing around the table. There was a stack of pancakes with a few lit candles in it and an envelope next to it. Liam came running up to me, "Happy birthday Dominic!"
I basically caught him in mid air and almost fell over, "How did you know?"
"It's my boyfriend's birthday I would always know... Well Mr. Bennet kind of looked at your school records for me."
I laughed, "Wow getting someone else to do your dirty work."
Mr. Bennet was laughing now too, "You better hurry up before candle wax gets all over your breakfast."
Liam pulled me towards the table and was bouncing with excitement, "Make a wish!"
I thought for a moment then blew out the candles. Liam burst with excitement and kissed me, "What did you wish for?"
I laughed, "I am not suppose to tell you... I may not celebrate my birthday much but I do know that."
Mr. Bennet laughed too, "Liam let the boy eat his food. I will be mad if after all that work it just goes to waste."
I dug in to my pancakes, which were perfectly made, while they eat their breakfast next to me. We all finished up and washed our plates.
Liam bounced up again with the envelope from the table in his hand, "Time for your present! It's from both Officer Jones and me since he gave me the idea."
I carefully opened it up to see a few pictures and a note. One of the pictures had a heat rate line with music notes in it while the other had a heart made of a treble and a bass clef. I picked the note and read it to myself.
Dominic,
Happy Birthday. When Liam came to me for a birthday present idea and thought back to our talk, there is also an address on the back of this note to go to. I have already arranged everything for you guys. Tell him when you are ready.
Officer Jones.
I looked back at the two pictures.
Perfect.
I hugged Liam, "Thank you but are you sure?"
He just nodded his head, "Of course! Anything for you."
I released him, putting the pictures back into the envelope.
Mr. Bennet threw the room keys at us, "You two will be preforming later tonight so be back around five. I am trusting you two so please don't be stupid or get arrested. But just in case, if you need someone to bail you out, I will be at a bookstore somewhere."
He grabbed a coat and headed for the door, "See you guys later."
We both yelled back at him, "See ya!"
Liam jumped back into me, "So you ready to get some tattoos!"
I laughed, "Hell yeah!"
We both grabbed our coats and left the room.
Snowflakes were gently falling outside as the city we coming alive. People were rushing off to work and cars were filling up the street.
I think I am falling in love with this city.
Liam was practically pulling me down the street, "So Officer Jones says he set everything up for twelve o'clock. So we have about two hours... what do you want to do?"
I smiled, "I think Central Park sounds cool."
He practically lit up with happiness, "Oh my god yes!"
He was hoping down the street with me running after him.
I swear this boy is such a child sometimes.
