17/9/2025: So turns out moving to that place I mentioned before is an actual possibility and I really hope it happens because that town is literally everything I want. It's the kind of place that I used to fantasize about living at but thought it was too unrealistic. I have been feeling a bit at odds with the idea that if I move there I'll never be able to return to where I currently live because of how far away and expensive it is but I know I'm stagnating where I'm currently living and need something new. I also found out that the places I would miss also exist pretty close to the new town so I'll still be able to go to those shops but it would be a longer trip.
25/9/2025: Was away because I thought something really awful was going on but it turned out there was a mistake and it's nothing to worry about. Going to this really cool second hand market on Saturday. Totally going to manifest that I find lots of interesting stuff. Read the first volume of the Absolute Wonder Woman comic and I think it might be the best comic I've ever read. Waiting until February until volume 2 comes out is gonna take forever. (I know I could technically buy the issues but I always wait for the volumes because the book is more sturdy and they usually have extra artwork in them.)
Actually got something a bit serious to talk about. UK is probably going to be giving out digital IDs soon which I think is a massive security and privacy risk but no one has actually said what happens if you don't have a mobile phone. My mother, grandmother and step aunt straight up don't have mobiles. I technically do but it's over 10 years old, and is essentially a glorified video camera, I only ever take it out with me when I know I'm gonna want to take pictures of stuff and it hasn't had any data on it since before the pandemic. (I went no contact with anyone associated with my high school and if I want to talk to someone I do it through Email or Discord which are free.) Whenever you tell someone you don't have a mobile they either assume you're lying or look at you like you've just told them you're walking around with one of your vital organs missing. It's really annoying.
26/9/2025: No real update today but from what I've seen on the news the digital ID thing is going to be sooner rather than later so I'm going to publish this now rather than when I have more entries to keep my journal up to date.
