We finally have a turkey. I had to have cheesecake for lunch so there was enough room for it in the fridge. :)
So the notebook had one page with the message thing on it but then several pages of random journal entries so I'm just going to get rid of the old pages and use it for my investigation journal.

I went to the woods that matched all of the rules of the story I was reading and literally seconds before I was about to enter loads of bells started ringing somewhere. I mean this time of year it was probably just someone's Christmas decorations but it's pretty cool that something did happen.

Really great Christmas! I hope everyone here had a good day and how you all have a brilliant 2026. Spent some time today finishing off the Victoria short story and I've got an idea for a new story I want to write.
Boxing day in my family
Absolutely tons of food gets made for just a few people
GB news watcher accidentally gifts me a Christmas decoration with the bi colors thinking its one of the houses from Harry Potter (I'm gay not bi but still)
Random family argument
A film gets put on the TV. No one is talking to each other for a good 30 minutes
Food gets served. People either only want to eat a few things or eat entire plates.
Despite this there is still loads of food left (This is usually ok as it will keep for meals for tomorrow)
I nearly get busted watching a witchcraft video when a relative comes back in room for more food

Honestly delicious
I get given a present family forgot to give me yesterday
All in all a pretty exciting day

For a day that started out really well oh boy did things go south fast last night. Relative broke her ankle falling down the stairs so her and half the family had to go up the hospital. (On Boxing day so it was packed solid and really busy) I had to stay behind to mind the house. One of the cats Raven got lost and I turned the house upside down looking for him hoping he hadn't sneaked out at that time of night. I did find him but by that point my stress was through the roof. Tidied up the boxing day stuff the best I could, went to bed at 2 am and woke up at 4:30 am with the worst stomach ache I can remember having. Everyone is back later than the predicted worst case scenario so I think something really awful has happened. Even later I find out that everything is ok or at least as ok as it's going to be given the circumstances. Times like this makes me glad that no one in my family really drinks alcohol because that would have been the last thing we needed after that fiasco.

Well the broken ankle turned into this huge family argument because the truth came out about a bunch of stuff and I'm not gonna talk about it anymore.

Well if truth be told 2025 sucked. There were some good moments like my day out to London and Andor season 2 but it was not a good year. I do have a really good feeling about 2026 though so I hope that everyone has a happy new year!
