Taehyung—

The hands pinning me down released their hold. Immediately, taking my chance, I rolled over, groaning in pain, as my bruised arm pressed down on the gravel. I continued to roll until my back hit against the library wall, and I stayed in that pitiful position. With my arms pressed close to my chest and my legs curled, trying to gain as much warmth as they could get against the biting wind. The sound of fighting and yelling had finally ceased to a silence, during the time I was trying to get out of the way. Wearily, I lifted my blurry eyes to see a hazy figure standing in the midst of unconscious bodies, a shadow over their face.

Quickly, the newcomer crouched down to grab something off of the ground, and made their way towards me. Scared that they were going to hurt me next, I pulled my legs even closer to me, on impulse. The figure clicked their tongue, and brushed a soothing hand through my hair. I blinked my watery eyes, trying to clear my vision. Slowly, the face before me began to take shape and form details, causing me to choke on a sob when I found out that is was Jungkook after all.

"Kookie," I whined, softly. The younger shook his head, and stroke my cheek, before gently pulling at my legs. "Come on, Tae. It's cold," he coaxed. I straightened my stiff legs, and let the other male slip my jeans on. So that was what he'd stooped down to get. Once Jungkook had finished buckling my belt, I slowly rose into a sitting position, and reached out to him. "Thanks for saving me," I murmured, pressing my face into the younger's warm neck.

Jungkook sighed, and slipped his arms around me, whilst standing up. "Let's go. You can tell me what happened once we're back in the dorm, okay?" I nodded, tiredly, appreciating how the younger wasn't demanding anything of me, right now. There was no way I could give a proper explanation. My teeth were chattering, my limbs felt like molten lead, and every single fiber of my being hurt.

I let my hand rest on my stomach, as Jungkook carried me into the dorm building. Thankfully, no one was in the lobby, and we got into the elevator without any raised eyebrows or concerned questions. I raised a shaky hand to pat the younger's cheek. "Am I too heavy?" I asked, softly. The aforementioned snorted, and leaned down to plant a kiss on my forehead. "No you're not. Actually, you're way too light. It's concerning, Tae. Have you even been eating for the past few days? I've never seen you go to the cafeter—" Jungkook cut himself off, and shook his head. "Later. Let's get back into the dorm, first."

I smiled at his considerateness, and nodded my head.

The ding of the elevator signaled us that we'd arrived on our floor, which Jungkook didn't hesitate to step out of once the doors just slid open. "Do you have your keys on you, Tae?" The younger asked, when we made it to our door. I nodded, and pulled out the key, which was attached to a lanyard, from inside of my hoodie. Jungkook bent his knees so that I could reach for the door knob, and unlocked the door.

The younger let us in, and locked the door behind us, before heading straight towards the main room. Jungkook sat me down on the edge of my bed, before he knelt down to take my shoes off. Quickly, he stood, to go place our shoes back out in the hallway, and to grab me a glass of warm water.

I sighed, as the water was being heated, and creakily laid down on my back, with my feet still planted on the floor. I closed my eyes, wondering how I should tell all of this to Jungkook without making him feel bad about not being able to do anything for me. Of course, this was all my fault. I should've just told somebody. I was so busy trying to get my assignments and projects done, there was no way I could've figured out a plan to get Lisa and her friends off of my case. Especially when they were relentlessly beating me up. I had no time to think for myself.

I should've just said something, rather than thinking I could figure it all out myself. I guess I'm just an idiot by default. Something warm and smooth pressed against my cheek, causing me to open my eyes. Jungkook helped me back up into a sitting positioned, and offered me the warm water. I nodded my thanks, and accept the glass, taking a sip, before lifting my eyes up to meet the younger's.
