Taehyung

"Going back to your boyfriend now, I see," Jimin teased, as I began to prepare myself to take my leave. I gave the elder a small apologetic smile. "Sorry, Chim. It's about time his class ends, and I don't want him to come back to an empty dorm." The others, at the table, made noises of disapproval and fake gagging. "Our Jungkook's a big boy. He doesn't need his boyfriend to greet him at the door!" Jin complained, waving his drink around airily. I chuckled, and shrugged, "I'll see you guys later, okay?"

Jimin raised his eyebrows, a playful twinkle in his eyes. "How long is next time, Tae?" In response, I sent the blonde a one shouldered shrug, and waved goodbye, a wide grin on my face. It was fun to reconnect with my friends, and have some time to myself. Of course, all of that didn't stop me from missing Jungkook, but it did help me realize that my life didn't just only revolve around the younger. I had other people that I care about, and who also care about me.

With lightness in my steps, I nearly skipped all the way back home, and enthusiastically flung open the door to the dorm. I'd noticed that the sound startled Jungkook as he was walking out of the bathroom, towel slung around his neck, and hair still dripping from his shower.

"Well, hi there, Kookie!" I greeted, cheerfully. The younger grinned, in response, and held up his arms. Taking the hint, I rushed to his embrace, and threw myself onto him. "Where'd you go?" The other male asked, face buried in my hair. "I was with Jimin and Yoongi," I answered, nuzzling my face into the other's chest. "Apparently Jimin began to invite your friends to dinner as well."

Surprised, Jungkook pulled apart from our hug, just enough to look at my face. "Wait, really? He invited Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok as well?" I nodded, and shrugged, arms still linked behind the younger's back. "Yeah, they said they all became friends because after we started dating we never really talked to them properly." I lowered my head, feeling guilty. "I made you the center of my universe, and I forgot that I even had other people that I cared about."

Sighing, I rested my cheek against Jungkook's chest again. "I feel like a total jerk," I mumbled, dejectedly. The younger ran his palm over my hair, soothingly. "If anything it was my fault for making you forget about your friends," he spoke, with a hint of playfulness in his tone. I smacked his back, lightly. "Don't get too full of yourself, just because I admitted to you being the center of my universe."

Jungkook's laugh lifted the weight on my lungs, that I didn't even know I had. Feeling pretty euphoric again, I squeezed the younger for a second longer, before pulling away from his arms. "I probably smell like food, so I'm gonna take a shower," I explained, as I headed towards our shared closet, and grabbed some clothes.

"Alright, I'll be out here if you need me," the other male replied. I snorted, and locked myself in the bathroom. "As if I need your help to take a shower!" I answered. Immediately, I felt heat rise to my cheeks, the moment after the words left my mouth, and waited for a response. Finally, after a short moment of silence, there was a knock on the door, causing me to have to bite down on a surprised squeak. "What is it?" I called, trying to keep my voice even.

"Was that an invitation, I just heard?" Jungkook teased. "U-uh, no?" I mentally cursed myself for having such a submissive answer. I was the older one here. I should have more control than this! What kind of hyung would I be if I let Jungkook get away with everything, like this? "So, if I asked again, would you open the door for me?" I pursed my lips, not knowing how to answer. We've been dating for so long now, and the most we've ever done was make out.

We're dating! What am I holding back for? Bracing myself, I unlocked the door, and opened it a crack, so that I could see Jungkook patiently waiting for my response. "If I opened the door further, what would you do?" I questioned, timidly. The younger's expression softened, and he pushed the door open a bit more, causing my to step back a little. "I won't do anything that you don't like, Tae. You know that I'll wait for as long as you're ready."

Feeling shy from the other's words, I gripped the edge of my shirt. "W-well...I don't want to go a-all the w-way, yet, but..." Something seemed to set in Jungkook's face, before he stepped into the bathroom, and closed the door behind him. "I said I won't do anything you don't like. That's a promise." I stared down at my feet, and nodded, face burning.

"O-okay."

We laid in my bed tonight, arms and legs in a tangled mess. My head rested on Jungkook's chest, and I listened to his steady heartbeats, in a peaceful daze. "Hey, Kookie?" I whispered, wondering if he'd fallen asleep already. "Hmm?" The younger hummed, moving his arm, so that it brought me closer to him. "What do you think about me introducing you to my parents as my boyfriend?" I asked, tentatively.

The other tensed, slightly. "As much as I like your parents, I don't know if they'll be okay with you dating a guy. Especially a poor orphaned guy who's using their money to pay for his college tuition." I frowned, and propped myself up on my forearm. "If my parents won't accept you, then they didn't love me enough as I thought they did. One look at you, and anyone can tell that you're a changed person. You don't steal anymore, you're doing your best in your studies, you're caring and sweet, and loyal, and you're always taking care of me."

I stared straight into Jungkook's eyes. "If my parents can't accept that, then they're more close-minded than I thought they were." The redhead sighed, and reached forward to pull me back to his chest. "Alright, I get it. But, if after we tell your parents, and you think breaking up with me is the better choice, than I'll understand."

I, lightly, smacked the younger with the side of my palm. "Don't say things like that. You have no idea how much I love you. Imagine me trying to break up with you. I would never, ever break up with you, unless it was absolutely necessary." The other male chuckled, and tightened his arms around me. "Okay, okay. Thank you Taehyung. I love you, too."

"You know my love for you is all I've got."

Here's an update! WHOOOOOO!

Uh...yeah...heh heh, sorry for being so slow on things. I've been real busy lately. My dumbass signed up for all honors classes and an AP class, so I've been stressing out over studying for finals. AND I have a volunteer job interview at a hospital at the end of this month, so I'm stressing out EVEN MORE, because that's the hospital I want to work at, in the future, and I want to leave a good impression, and it's my first job interview, so you can just imagine how much pressure is on me, right now. *LARGE SIGH*

So, yeah, that's what's going on with my life. Tons of fun stuff.

How'd you guys think of Map of the Soul: Persona? Personally, I'm in love with the entire album, and it's pretty rare for me to like all of the songs in an album. Dionysus is my FUCKING jam, ma doods! Like it just sends me 2012 BTS vibes, and it's so badass and kinda nostalgic.

Anyway goodnight, good morning, good afternoon to all of you guys! See you in the next update.

And happy birthday to our wonderful puppy, Lee Jeno :)
