As I walked home from school I could hear the yelling of my name behind me. I turned around and unexpectedly fell to the ground as what felt like a brick wall hit me. My eyes found the face of Liam looked down on me with a worried face.
"Did I hurt you?" He asked sticking out his arm.
I shook the gesture away and got up without his help.
"I'm fine, god knows I've been whacked around like a rag doll before." I said with a smile on my face forgetting the fact that Liam wouldn't understand.
"What?" He questioned oblivious to the last part of my statement.
"Nothing." I said not making the mistake of repeating my words.
"So, are you excited for the party?" I asked with a smile on my face
"Yeah, but I'm more excited that I'm going with you." He said, muttering the last part.
I laughed and patted his shoulder "I'm glad to be going with you too." I said, Liam went red faced and laughed nervously.
"I think I missed my turn home." He said looking around.
"Sorry that I distracted you," I laughed and continued "You better get going." I said.
"Bye." He laughed pulling his backpack straps further up his broad shoulders and turned around.
"Bye, try not to get distracted by another pretty girl on the way." I said laughing
He laughed "I'll try."

As soon as I got home from school I ran upstairs to my room to take a shower. When I was done I walked out of the bathroom and into my room to find a outfit for the 'party'. If I'm gonna trick Liam into thinking there is a party, I might as well dress like there is one. I searched through my dull clothes only to find nothing. I eventually found a flowy white shirt but I couldn't find anything else. I had never been good at fashion.
After a half an hour of contemplating my outfit the door banged open and in came Lydia jumping around shouting about the time.
"Why are you here?" I asked confused as to why she busted through my door
"I had a feeling you didn't know what to wear. So, I was thinking that flowy white shirt I gave you, and I also brought you these jeans. I was also thinking we could leave your hair-" Lydia just kept talking until I finally told her to shut up and help me.

By the time Kira came to pick me up, she had to take Liam and I since he couldn't drive, Lydia was gone and I was on my way to Liam's house.

"Hey." Liam said when he got in the car
"Hi." I said clearing my throat awkwardly.
Liam turned to look at me and his eyes widened. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again. I giggled nervously,
"It's official, I look like shit!" I said only to have Kira scold me
"You look gorgeous, he's obviously at a loss for words because you look beautiful....right Liam?" She asked looking into the rear view mirror. Without taking his eyes off me he nodded his head and started stuttering.
"You- you look beautiful" He said grinning from ear to ear.
"Thanks, not to bad yourself Dunbar." I said throwing a wink at the now blushing boy.
