"Scott, is there a reason you woke me up this late or are you just screwing with me? Because you've been standing there for five minutes, and haven't said anything yet." I said watching as Scott pulled a desk chair to my bed, and sighed.

"You're not going to like this, at all. But... while you were sleeping we found out some things." Scott began.

I gestured for him to continue, worry gathering in my stomach.

"Before you say anything you have to let me finish what I'm saying. Okay?" He asked.

I nodded my head but we both knew that wasn't a promise.

"Meredith is the benefactor." Scott rushed out.

As the words flew from his mouth, I could feel mine drop open.

"What?" I said, needing to hear what he said again.

"Wait, no. How?"

"Lydia and Stiles went to Eichen to find out information on Lydia's grandmother, where they attempted to bribe Brunski to get that information." I wanted to interrupt Scott, but I knew he wouldn't continue speaking if I did.

"After they bribed him, he led them to a filing room....where he may or may not have knocked your brother and Lydia out." I opened my mouth and stood up to speak but Scott put his pointer finger to his lips and then gestured for me to sit down.

Once I sat down he began speaking again, but this time he was more cautious of my actions.

"After, they woke up Brunski told them that he murdered Lydia's grandmother, and made it look like a suicide. Luckily Deputy Parrish came and overpowered Brunski, and that's when they found out that Brunski didn't make the deadpool like they were thinking, but Meredith did. Which leads me to my next statement, Stiles is in the hospital getting his head checked." After Scott finished talking, I pushed myself from my bed and walked to my closet.

"What'are you doing?" Said Scott, covering his eyes as I pulled off my pajama bottoms.

"I'm sorry for the lack of warning, but I need to go see my brother." I said, sliding on my jeans.

"It'd be better if you just stayed here and waited for Stiles. He'll be home after he's been checked, I swear."

My eyes found their way to the floor, and I sighed, "Scott, please keep an eye on Stiles. You and I both know that he wont come home right away, but I'm not gonna chase after him." I said, sitting back down on my bed.

"I'm sorry Sara, I know we keep worrying you. I promise, we'll be more careful."

I took off the shoes I had previously put on, laid back in bed, and turned away from Scott.

"We both also know that's lie." I said, closing my eyes.

A few hours later I found myself in the hospital, waiting for Melissa to let Stiles and Malia out of the room she locked them in.

"Sara?" She asked, watching as I stood in front of the room my brother and his girlfriend were.

I sat in a chair, right outside of the door, and stared at the floor.

There was something wrong with me today, ever since Scott had woken me up earlier I'd had an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I was sure for the first hour that it was the pent up worry I had for my brother, but after a while I figured out, that wasn't it.

"Sara, honey?" Melissa said, snapping me out of my daze.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"What wrong, you've been zoning out for a while now."

"I'm not exactly sure either. Ever since Scott woke me up earlier to tell me about what happened, I've had this weird feeling in my stomach. And I know it's not the worry I have for Stiles."

"Maybe you're hungry or maybe it's-"

"Okay Mel, you can let us out now." Stiles says through the door.

-----------------------------

"I can't believe you didn't tell me you were leaving! And, you were stupid enough to get hurt." I said, smacking Stiles' arm lightly.

"I'm sorry, okay? I try to be careful but that never works out."

I shook my head at his stupidity, but agreed with him nonetheless.

Stiles grabbed my shoulder and pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm sorry Sara but what we do, isn't safe. I know you don't want to but you'll have to get used to me getting hurt. I thought you'd know that after last year." He said, patting my back.

"I know you're gonna get hurt, it's unavoidable whether you're friends with a Wolf or not, but that doesn't stop me from worrying." I said.

As Stiles and I hugged it out, I realized I was right. That feeling in my stomach wasn't from worrying about Stiles.
