Gone

I kept running from the house and found myself at The Calaveras. I went to grab the key from under the welcome matt but I couldn't find the cold metal. I bent down and picked up the matt to look under it but the key was gone. Shrugging it off, I headed towards the back but I stopped walking when I felt something crunch under my feet.

I looked at the ground and noticed glass spaced out on the ground. Looking up at the side of the house I noticed a window above a ledge smashed in and without thinking I grabbed the ledge and hoisted myself onto it. Once I was situated, I smashed my elbow through the rest of the window removing the remaining glass.

With a thud I fell to the floor inside of the house, banging my head on the floor where I'm assuming some left over glass laid because I felt an immediate pain in the side of my head. When I began to gain my balance again, my hand clutched my head and met with a sticky wet substance. I pulled my hand away from my head and saw a red thick liquid.

Blood.

All of a sudden my vision started going in and out as I got up and stumbled through the house. The various chairs in the dining room were nowhere to be seen, and the floors looked scratched like something was dragged across it. No one seemed to be in the house.

Still stumbling I found the kitchen and before I could make my way to the training room, I noticed a yellow note stuck on the fridge with a magnet thay caught my attention. I grabbed the note and stuffed it into my pocket not caring to read it now.

I stumbled to the basement door with much effort I found the knob and turned it slowly. Forgetting about the stairs I took a step and immediately tumbled down the steep steps.

Pain flooded my body as I tried standing up but I couldn't seem to get up. I crawled to a big metal door and placed my hand on it. I pushed it and fell into the training room. I turned around exhausted and layed myself on my back on the floor and closed my eyes. Once I gathered myself I reached into my pocket and pulled out the note.

It read,

Dear Sara,

I'm sorry but we had to leave. Your friends found us and told us to leave. We wouldn't have backed down without a fight but this isn't our territory and we do have respect. We waited for you to come for practice but you didn't show and we couldn't stay. I'm sorry. We will meet again, and when we do, you are welcome to come with us. Until then.

Sincerly, your real family.

P.S we left mujer guerrera on the floor of the training room along with some other stuff.

I felt tears burn my eyes as I crumpled up the paper and threw it away from me. I grabbed my face with my hands and cried into them, then I tilted my head backwards removing my hands from my face to look behind me.

All of the training equipment was gone. All of it, the punching bag, the table with the knives, even the various cans of pepper spray. The only thing there was my bow, it's arrows, and a small pocket knife.

I couldn't believe it, it's true, they're gone.

I threw my hand out to the side and it met with another paper. I grabbed the paper and tried to focus my struggling vision on ot. Right there on the paper, that I found out was a picture, was a young woman. She looked like me but I knew better than to think she was.

My vision started acting up again and a piercing feeling flashed through my head. With all of the pain I was feeling, physical and emotional I let out a piercing scream.

I couldn't control my emotions.

And my loud cry let out, a loud howl rang out and I'm sure everyone in beacon hills could hear it.

I didn't pay any attention to it though because all I could think about was that note. Tears started shedding from my eyes and clouded my vision even more than the blood on my head did.

I felt myself drift in and out of consciousness, probably from blood loss for a few minutes and the last thing I saw was someone leaning over me.

Liam carried Sara through the Calavera's hide out with a grim look on his face. He lifted up his foot once he got to the front door and kicked it off it's hinges.

Liam had never felt this scared before in his life.

Scott dashed towards Liam and grabbed Sara from his arms. He then brought her to Stiles' jeep, who he'd previously been with, and placed her carefully into the back seat. Liam had climbed into the front seat with Stiles who chaotically sped off to the hospital.
