I woke up the next day with my head pounding. What the hell happened? I asked myself. Oh yeah, Kira fucking knocked me upside the head with a boat paddle. For someone who is supposed to have a good aim, she really sucks.

Something else pushed it's way into my thoughts. My mind brought me back to Liam when he was wolfing out. What made him stop trying to attack me?

Stiles got me up this morning, despite my reluctant attitude. He left me to changed for school but not after checking me for a concussion.

I picked out a crop top, blue skinny jeans, and a red and black flannel.

When I was done changing I brushed my hair out and straightened it deciding that it was enough for today.

After being driven to school by Stiles, I immediately ran into the school and into my first class which just so happened to be History, my least favorite subject. As I sat down, Liam walked in causing my heart to beating rapidly.

He sat right next to me and put his stuff onto the he ground next to him. We sat there im silence, waiting for our teacher to start the lesson, until he started to speak.

"Are you okay?"

No Liam, I am not okay. Now, if you would excuse me, I'm trying to pay attention to the chalk board.

"Yeah, I am just peachy" I said instead.

"Are you sure?"

Yes, did you not listen to a word I said? I'm fine.

"Yes, Liam!" I said, feeling my heart beat pick up even more.

"That beating is getting really intense, is that your heart?" Liam asked turning towards me.

"No, it's not me" I said quickly.

"No, no. I can tell it's you....Are you feeling okay?" He asked with concern.

"Stop worrying about me!"

Suddenly, my beating heart sufficed as something gripped my hand. I looked at my hand and back to Liam's smirking face with wide eyes.

Why haven't I let go yet? I tried to loosen our hands, but it was like they were stuck.

As soon as class was done I got my stuff and booked it out of the classroom, trying to avoid Liam. But he was close behind.

I ran down an empty hallway and slumped against a locker. Thinking that somehow, if I acted like a ninja, he won't notice me.

Liam came rushing down the hall seconds later quickly finding my hiding spot.

Damn.

"Are you okay?" He asked, walking closer to me.

I stood up abruptly and shook it off.

"I'm peachy." I said watching as he came closer to me. His hand found it's way to the wall beside my hip and the other, to the wall beside my head.

"I was just worried about you" He said.

"Well you don't need to worry about me. I'm perfectly fine, now if you would kindly excuse me I have to go find my-" and then he cut me off. This bitch cut me off, with a hug.

Do I like Liam? I asked myself as I felt my arms rap around Liam.

'Yes.' A voice sounded in the back of my head.

Liam pulled away from our hug, loosening his tight grip on me. We stared at each other for what felt like years. I could feel my head moving itself closer to the wide eye'd Liam, suprising him and myself. Instead of doing what I actually wanted, I leaned to the side and kissed his cheek.

The bell screeched causing Liam to jump back from my hold. I thought he was going to say something, but he raced down the hall without a second glance at me.

I walked out of the hallway and to lunch. Why did Liam back away so quickly? Deciding that I just wanted to go home, I told my brother I was leaving, and walked out through the cafe doors.

"Sara?" Kira called after me, following me from the cafe to outside.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You looked sad. There is something wrong with you, isn't there?" Kira questioned.

"Promise you won't tell anyone?".

Kira nodded her head

"Liam and I....hugged." My voice faltered when I said 'hugged'.

"What?" She asked not hearing me.

"Liam and I hugged, then I kissed him on the cheek...".

Kira screeched causing everyone in the school parking lot to stare.

"Kira, shut the hell up! It was just a hug." I said although I felt about the same way she did.

"Holy....are you guys together?" She asked quieting down.

"No, it was just a hug. He literally ran away before I could say anything. I don't think he likes me." I said frowning.

"Yes he does, you can clearly see it!" I shook my head sighing,

"No, he doesn't.... that's why he walked away. Now if you will excuse me, I'm gonna go home and sleep." I said, turning away from Kira.

As I walked home I couldn't help but think, why was I so sad about this?
