Rays p.o.v

Tears trickled down my face and my eye sockets burned like wild fire. A hoard of walkers trudged my way at the fresh smell of my body. Guts and liver dropped to the floor as they left huge, red footmarks on the wooden floor. The groans and moans escaped their wrinkly throats. Blue and green veins bloated out of their dull, rusty skin as their crackly teeth snapped together. I pulled and tugged on the rope. No. It wasn't working. My palms got sweaty, making it harder to wriggle out of the tight grip. My heart drummed against my rib cage. "Merle!!" I yelled in panic. My eyes darted around for him. No. He was long gone. He done what he desired. I was his doll for a few months and he ended it. The walkers came closer and closer, shading every part of the cold, dark room. I shuffled out of their way by an inch as I struggled and struggled to break free. The moans got closer and the aroma of blood drifted to my nose making me feel woozy. Was this how I was going to die? In the dark? Alone? There was nothing I could do, but just sit there and wait for my flesh to be chewed down to my bones. A large lump in my throat grew larger and drier. My eyelids gently closed. I didn't want to see anymore. I felt goosebumps rise on my pale skin. All it took was one bite. One bite and before I would know, I would be dead. Living upstairs in the clouds. I was never a religious person but if I died I wanted to believe that I would be protected in Gods arms. Watching the horrible world die down. Watch it being destroyed by dead people roaming the Earth. So that's how it was going to be. My teeth bite on my tongue until I could taste bronze. The blood swirled around in my dry mouth before i gulped it down. The taste of salt flushed down my throat and pooled heavily in my empty stomach.

My head jerked up at the gunfire. A layer of mist floated infront of my eyes. My jaw dropped to the floor as I studied the walkers. Dead bodies pooled on the hard floor. My eyes drifted up and I suddenly became speechless. "Hey trouble maker."

My eyelids fluttered open until I could clearly see. Where the hell was I? My eyes darted around at the mystery walls. Damp rose from the bricks and the smell of mothballs drifted up my nose. My wrists were tightly bandaged in white cotton and drops of blood was visible. The bed was messy and rusty. The door was caged with cracked metal. It was a dirty place. A figure strolled into the room and man with wavy, brown hair kneeled down next to me. He had bright, blue eyes and was wearing a jet black shirt. His muscles was visible under the dark cotton. "Thank god your awake!" He cheerfully exclaimed as he kissed my forehead. My eyebrows knitted together as I shoved away from his gentle grip. A confused expression displayed on his face. "Are you ok Ray?" He soothingly asked as he tried to fiddle with my knotted hair. "Where am I?!" I asked in panic as my eyes looked around the room. The mans eyes slitted as he answered my question. "Your in the prison... Are you sure your alright?" He worriedly asked with slight depression. "Who... Who... Who are you?" I asked in confusion. His head slightly turned to the side and his sparkly, gem eyes dazed off. Suddenly a huge smile stretched across his face. Confusion crossed my mind. "Your funny Ray! Come on lets get something to eat." He cheerfully exclaimed as be wrapped his arm around my waist. I swiftly shoved away. Who the hell was this man?! He's acting like he knows me. "Get away from me!" I ordered in anger. The man silently stepped away and his smiled faded away. "Ray... Come on. It's ok. Your safe now." He explained with a soothing voice. "Who are you?!" I ordered in panic. My palms became sweaty and heat flushed over my face. "I'm Rick." He answered in complete confusion. Rick.... Who the blinking hell was Rick?? "Get away from me!" I screamed as the guy started to gently stroll towards me. "It's ok. Ray.Your safe." He soothed over and over again. "If this is a sick joke you better drop it!" I yelled at the top of my voice. Rick stepped away in panic. An old man wondered into the cell room. "Aw Ray your awake!" He cheerfully commented as he walked over to me. I suddenly shuffled away from him. "I just need to check your bandage." He soothed with calming hands. My eyes slitted together. "Get the fuck away from me!" I yelled. Panic crossed his face. The old man turned to Rick. "Was she ok when you came in?" He asked. Rick shook his head as he didn't take his eyes off mine. "What happened?" The old man asked. Rick shrugged in confusion. "You tell me."
