Rays p.o.v

"Morning Sweetie." Rick teased me as he kissed my neck under the bed sheets. "Good morning." I simply replied as I cuddled him and hopped out of bed.
Rick watched me as I got changed into ripped jeans, a blue crop top and my boots. "Beautiful." Rick whispered under his breath while grinning at me. I couldn't help but laugh. "Get up lazy arse!" I teased while shaking him. He did nothing but duck his head under the blankets. A grin stretched across my face and before he knew it, I poured my water bottle over his face. Bursts of laughter escaped his throat. "Alright, alright I'm up!" He smirked before jumping out of bed. I bite my lip and walked out the door to let him get changed. "Hey Ray?" Rick whispered. I turned around. "Love you."

"Lets go!" Daryl ordered to the small survival crew. Glenn and Hershel was still upset after Maggie's terrible death. She died almost two weeks ago. But I saw an improvement in their emotions. Hershel wasn't coming. Obviously. He's getting too old and bothered. So I worked myself over to Glenn who was sipping at a glass of water. "Coming?" I blandly asked while placing my hands on my hips. By surprise, he nodded his head and walked out the prison.
I was driving the Jeep and Rick and Glenn was sitting in the passenger seats. Daryl was riding his motorbike with his crossbow slung over his muscular back.
"You drive fast." Rick commented while rubbing his hand on his jaw line. I shrugged my shoulders. "Want me to slow down?" I worriedly asked. Rick shook his head. "Lori used to drive slow."

We entered the forest. Moss covers the barks of the pine trees and water trickled down the damp, green leaves. It was very humid and the sun was high up in the sky. "Squirrels won't be out today. Hibernating." Daryl grunted while lowering his crossbow. Glenn sighed in annoyance. "Can we get some stuff at the store?" I asked. "Hopefully. We will have to." Rick replied while pursing his lips together. We all agreed and walked towards the store. Shooting and stabbing a few walkers on the way.

We entered the shop. Rotting corpses and walkers were trapped underneath shelves. "What an ugly skank." Daryl mumbled and shot a walker in the skull. Blood trickled down its forehead and it collapsed to the floor as its eye plopped out of its socket. "Lets go." We nodded and started to search through boxes of stuff. We didn't know what we was looking for. Anything helpful. Rick widely grinned as he pulled out a thick blanket. It was a faded green colour with feathers poking out of the velvet material. "You gonna keep that?" Glenn asked him. Rick nodded frantically. "That's great! It's getting colder through the nights." Glenn agreed. "Yeah. Ray usually complains that it's cold." Rick replied while giggling at me. "Same. It's freezing." Glenn replied. My lips pursed together as I searched through piles of paper and other crap. My eyebrows knitted together while I looked at pots of tablets. Pain killers and headache drugs lined up in an unorganised style. Before I could grab a pot of tablets, something grabbed my arm. A blood oozing walker rose from the shelf. Cold veins covered its arms and her brown teeth snapped frantically. I shrieked in horror as it grabbed my other arm. Shit. I was trapped. "RICK!! DARYL!!" I screamed in terror. The walkers finger nails, scraped against my arm, leaving four wide scratch marks, trailing down my arms and shoulder. My lips pursed together in complete pain. "RICK!" I screamed again. All of a sudden, an arrow pierced through his eye and it collapsed to the floor like stone. I sighed in relief. Warm hands wrapped around my arm. Daryl looked at me in worry. "Damn Ray." He grunted as he looked at the deep scratch marks. Rick and Glenn raced towards me in safety. "What?! What happened?!" Glenn asked with wide eyes. "She's scratched." Daryl grunted. I flinched as he showed Glenn my injured arm. "Rick!" Glenn screamed. "Woah man! Lower your voice. Your gonna attract walkers." Daryl argued at him. Glenn looked at us with puppy dog eyes as if to say 'sorry.'
Rick raced to me and studied my arm with concern. "Shit." He blandly grunted. Blood dripped down my arm as I flinched in pain. "It's alright." Daryl soothed me. I nodded and Rick tore a piece of cloth from his beige shirt before carefully wrapping it around my arm. My nails dug into his shoulder because it hurt. He nodded gently and released me.
"Hey guys??" Glenn asked in a shaky voice. We jerked our heads towards him. "Walkers." He blandly whispered under his breath. I followed his stare. A hoard of walkers were trudging through the door. Blood footprints marked on the wooden floor. Rick stabbed a few in the head and guts plopped to the floor. "We need to get out of here." Daryl grunted. We all nodded and frantically ran to the back door. My hands gripped firmly on the lock as I shook it and drummed on the glass door with my palms. "Shit! Come on!!" I moaned as I struggled to open the door. Rick tried to help me as my arm hurt. "Damn." We were all drumming against the glass. Walkers were coming closer and closer. I stabbed a few in the head while Glenn shot as much as possible. I suddenly dropped my knife as my arm completely hurt. Rick wrapped his arm around me in protection. "FUCKING HELL!!" Daryl screeched in fear as he fiddled with the lock swiftly. There must of been about a hundred walkers. More was coming through the door.

"GLENN!!" I yelled in fear. A walker was closing in on him. Before I could grab my knife from the floor and before Glenn could aim his gun at the horrific monster, it bite into his neck. Crimson red blood squirted from his veins as he collapsed to the floor. Yelps escaped his sore throat. Flesh peeled inside him. I stabbed the walker in the chest many times. Daryl was shooting every arrow at the walkers. Groans and moans escaped their throats. Blood sprayed up the walls. It was truly, something from a horror movie. Daryl ran out of arrows very quickly. There was about ten walkers left that was hobbling towards us. Rick shot as many as he could. Gunfire ran through my ears and gave me a drumming headache. I raced towards the monsters and stabbed every one of them in the head. The dead corpses collapsed to the floor. Piles of rotting people were laid everywhere. Everyone sighed and breathed heavily.

Glenn was still on the floor in absolute pain. We kneeled down beside him. Daryl looked away in sadness. Rick was forming tears and I was frantically crying in depression. Rick hugged and soothed me as I buried my face in his chest. Daryl looked at Rick. "We... Got to do it." I looked at Glenn who was snorting and coughing in pain. Blood pulsed out his visible veins. His whole face and neck was covered in fresh blood. I placed my hand on his cheek and pressed my forehead to his.
He was such a good friend. He was always there for me and cared about him. Daryl pulled out his gun from his holster and aimed it at his head. Glenn's brown eyes glistened with tears and pain. I pulled out the green blanket and covered his shivering body with it. He wanted to say something but he couldn't. "Sorry brother." Daryl grunted. *PT!*

"We've.... We've lost too many people.... Glenn?!" I explained in disbelief. Rick held my arm due to the deep scratches. "I know sweetie. He was a good friend to all of us." Rick kissed my forehead while Daryl lead the way in depression.
"He would sacrifice himself to save our lives. He wasn't just a friend.... He was the best."
Glenn was sadly gone. A terrible death. But he was in a safe place now. God could protect him. I have never been a religious person, but when the world goes to shit you need something to look forward to after a long and painful death.
He is with Maggie now... And always will be... Forever.
