Ray's p.o.v

My eyelids fluttered open and I was still in the dark tombs. Sighing, I swung my legs over the creaky bed and got changed into a grey crop top, black leggings and camo boots, before wrapping my holster around my waist. I headed down the corridor and a figure was siting at a table. Who the hell was that at six in the morning? I stepped towards the person and sighed. "Ray." The guy named Rick soothed me. "What?!" I angrily asked through rage. He bite his lip before talking. "I'm worried about you." He calmly exclaimed. "Thank you." I replied in sarcasm. "No Ray. I'm worried about you." I sat on the table to face him. He was showered and had a clean brown shirt on. "I'm peachy." I replied with a smirk. He sighed before talking again. "You need to remember!" He yelled as he placed his thumbs to his forehead. I could see that he was stressed and maybe a bit angry. My lips pursed together. "I can't! I've never been here before and I have never seen you. Stop pulling a joke!" I screamed at the top of my voice. His head rose from his neck and he studied me with his sparkly eyes. "You know me! You know me! You crazy bitch!!" He yelled in rage before aiming his Colt Python at my head. My eyes enlarged by 50%. "Please.... Please kill me!" I begged through tears. Ricks face softened a little bit. "GO ON THEN!! PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER!" I yelled at the top of my voice. Rick lowered his revolver before a figure stepped out of the cell rooms. "What's going on?" The dude with the crossbow muttered. My eyebrows knitted together before I raced out of the room and strolled towards the gates. "Ray! Don't leave." The crossbow guy sighed under his breath. He tried to hold my arm before I shoved away. "Don't you touch me!" I yelled in fury and ran out of the dark prison. The autumn breeze flooded my skin. It felt so nice and refreshing. The trees were swaying and releasing crimson leaves that gently fluttered to the dry grass. I started to walk. I don't know where. Walking and walking. I passed pine trees and cold ponds. I sighed in relief as I saw a relaxing looking river. I plopped myself down at the mossy bank. Water trickled down the sandy rocks and pebbles. Plants were placed underwater and swaying at the soft movements. How long do I have to wait? How long do I have to wait to die? It feels like I've been here my entire life but I don't recognise it. I don't know anyone. I'm not trying to do anything. Just watching the world zoom by. Flies buzzed around the curly moss then settled down as they flicked their tiny legs together. All of a sudden a hand grabbed my hair. I screamed in panic as I struggled to grab my gun. I felt blood splatter down my neck and spine. My fingers wrapped around the gun chamber before I flicked it out of my holster. *PLOP!* "Damn it!" I groaned as I quickly watched my gun drown in the water and settle down underwater. The walker kept snapping its teeth as I tried to pull it away. I felt my hair snap and get pulled out of my scalp. I screamed in terror. I don't think I have to wait long to die. *PT PT!!" The walker collapsed to the ground and I sighed in relief as I turned around.

It was the guy named Rick. He sat by me on a sandy rock and watched me closely. "What?" I groaned under my breath as I didn't take my eyes off the trickling water. "Your beautiful." He exclaimed in his southern accent. My head jerked up. "Huh. First time I ever heard that." I grinned and swung my head around at the horrible thought of my childhood. "I'm sorry." He apologised in a calm tone. My eyes slitted together. "For what? Calling me a bitch?! Aiming your stupid gun at my head?! Making me remember something I can't?!" I yelled under my heavy breathing. Rick looked away before talking. "Everything."

We was sitting in silence for the next hour. The clouds started to get darker and the sun eventually decided to settle in the grey sky. "Ray..." Rick broke the silence. I slowly looked at him in concern. "The first time I met you was when Glenn saved you from a closet in a shopping mall. He brought you to the prison and I asked you three questions. How many walkers have you killed? How many people have you killed? Why?.... That night, Daryl went hunting and we cooked squirrel to eat. We was sitting around the camp fire before I eventually decided to sit next to you. We started to talk about before the world went to shit... I told you that my wife died giving birth and my son Carl, was bite. You told me that your mum was in a car crash.... And your dad.... Abused you.... We became close friends. A few days after that we decided to go on a supply run. You, me and Daryl went. We went to the local corner shop and collected some stuff... I heard a scream and you was on the floor. The jewellery box collapsed on your leg and a walker was ontop of you. Daryl killed the walker and we had to carry you back to the prison.... I was with you day and night when you was in a coma... Hershel had to do something. He poured alcohol on your wounds for you to heal quicker. You woke up screaming and called my name over and over and over again.... Soon later you was back on your feet and you was sleeping with me.... That's when you heard a noise. The ceiling collapsed and there was tanks and men outside the prison fences. Daryls brother Merle, wanted to have our prison. It was either you or the prison. I was a stupid bitch. Merle took you with him and after days and weeks we finally found you...." I looked at Rick as I felt my lips part. "Rick??" I gasped. His eyes grew wider and a small grin displayed in his face. "I know you! I know you. I... I remember you...!" I exclaimed in relief. "Daryl... The guy with the crossbow and the old man.... Hershel?" Rick nodded with happiness. "Rick...." Tears trickled down my cheek as he wrapped his arms around me in a big hug. I cried in his shirt and the salty water drowned in the cotton. "I know you." I repeated. Rick looked at me. "I love you." He blandly exclaimed in his southern accent. "I love you too." I replied back as he wiped my tears away.

A huge smile stretched across his perfect face. "Welcome home Ray... Lets go." I nodded as he brought me on two feet. My eyes darted to the shallow river and I ducked my hands under the freezing water to grab my gun. I opened the gun chamber and sighed in disbelief. There was no bullets anyway. It was completely empty...
