I quickly throw together a sandwich for school, sloppily squishing it into a sandwich bag. 'At least it'll taste better than it looks' I think to myself, then quickly turn around.
I gasp in shock as I see Landon leaning against the kitchen doorframe. Watching me in amusement. "You scared me!" I hold my hand to my chest. And I only see a sideways smirk pull onto his lips and he lets out a small chuckle.
I quickly try to slip past him but I'm caught by his sudden question. "Can I ask you something?" He speaks as I reach the bottom of the stairs.
"Uh yeah, sure." I stare with anticipation, out of breath from rushing around.
"How'd you meet that, Tristan, guy?"
"He lives just next door. Dad didn't tell you?" I look at him with slight shock.
He shakes his head then inhales, his chest rising. "I guess it never came up."
I nod, bouncing on my feet. "Okay, I'm gonna be late." I run up the stairs, grab my backpack, then quickly run back down. "I'll see you tomorrow!" I yell in his direction before opening the front door.
"Tomorrow?!" I hear him yell back.
"Staying at Alison's!" I yell once more, not having enough time to explain before closing the door.
**** (at school)
The first half of the day was expectedly boring, I didn't see Alison, she's on some girl trip with her mom for the weekend. And Tristan is always late. I usually never see him until lunch, then half of the classes we have are together, so that's a plus.
Apparently his grade is starting to get better from the higher number of classes he's been taking. Not that he's paying attention. The only thing our relationship seems to be saving, school wise, is his attendance.
As I enter History class, I spot Alex Walker staring me down. He's been doing this every day for the past month. Ever since the word came out about Tristan and I dating. I don't understand what he has against me.
I sit down at the last empty desk, which just happened to be the one in front of his.
As class started, all I could feel was Alex staring at me. It made me wanna scrunch my shoulders up and disappear. I could barely pay attention to what was happening.
As if he could hear my thoughts, I feel someone tap my arm. I sigh in impatience.
I turn around and see a note placed on the end of his desk. His eyes shifted from me to the note. And I pick it up. I seriously don't wanna hear it from him today.
I stealthily open the note and read it from underneath my desk. Saying "you should've listened." In the most scribbled handwriting. It made me smile in humour, but that smile quickly changed.
I grab a pen and quickly write something underneath of his writing.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" In all caps. Of course.
I scrunch up the paper, throwing it back to him before quickly turning back to the teacher, rolling my eyes.
As class ended, I walked out into the hall, heading to English. My last class before seeing Tristan again.
I smile raises onto my cheeks just thinking about it. Today feels different, but in a good way.
As I'm rushing through the crowd of students towards the door to English class, I feel someone tug on my arm, gripping tightly onto my hand.
Suddenly I feel a strong pull, then my back slams into the lockers. I open my eyes and my heart skips a beat when see the exact person I'd been waiting for.
"I couldn't wait any longer." Tristan speaks, breathless. He stares at me impatiently, as I stand in the cage of safety that his arms always seem to build around me.
"You know, you could actually, just maybe, attend class for once. Then you wouldn't have to wait. " I watch a few people slow down in their tracks to stare in our direction. People still aren't used to the view of Tristan Andrews being indoors during class hours. I guess it's only the inevitable thing to expect.
My thoughts trail off when Tristan plants a soft kiss against my cheek. My cheeks rising into a smile as I look up at his face. He quickly leans down, planting another one on my jaw, then my chin and nose then forehead. "Stop that!" I laugh, pushing him away.
Only for him to come right back and engulf me in an even tighter embrace, my cheek pressing against his chest, as his arms locked tightly around me.
"I'm never gonna stop. And you know that." He spoke into my hair, before letting me go.
"We should go." He looks into my eyes. "To class? Yes. Let's go." I tug on his hand, towards the door to English. The hallways now almost empty. "No. Far away." He smiles, "Somewhere not here." He says a bit quieter, leaning down to my level. His eyes latching onto mine.
I gasp, in sarcasm. "Mister Andrews! Are you thinking, what I think you're thinking?" My jaw drops in complete 'shock'.
He leans down to my lips "I thank, you know exactly what I'm thinking." With his lips only centimetres away from mine, our words dial down to a whisper.
"You filthy-!" I'm cut off my his lips pressing against mine, my heart contracts and I grip onto his shirt, pulling him in closer.
I feel Tristan's body relax against mine, although he forcefully pushes me against the lockers, pushing our bodies impossibly closer. Some part of me is thankful that the hallway is now empty.
My breathing patterns go wild as he leaves me an opened mouth kiss, I push my lips harder against his, letting go of my morals. I feel a smirk form on his lips as I move my lips passionately against his.
His chest presses against mine. I squeal in surprise as he picks me up by my thighs and presses me into the locker. Although I'm more surprised by the fact that there's no dent in it yet.
I plant another soft kiss against his lips, and as I release, I watch his eyes burning with passion. "More." He whispers onto my lips, and I smile.
"Don't be greedy." I whisper, then wrap my arms around his neck, my head nuzzling into it. I plant delicate kisses in every possible place. His breathing growing heavier and faster with every second, his grip on my thighs gets weaker.
I unwrap my arms, and my feet are on the ground. His body leaned into mine,
"You have to stop doing this to me." He let out a low chuckle then pressed his forehead against mine. Our eyes locking.I spot his flushed cheeks and my heart flutters. "I love you." I breath out, watching his lust filled eyes.
"And, I love you." He presses one last kiss onto my lips, his hand finding mine and interlocking our fingers.
He starts walking, pulling me towards the exit with him. "You can't say no anymore." He says, referring to my disagreement on skipping class. "We're leaving."
