I leaned against Alison's car as I watched from my peripheral view, Foster yelling at him. I couldn't exactly hear what he was saying clearly, but he seemed really upset.

Tristan just stood there with crossed arms as he stared at the ground. I haven't seen or talked to him since Alison pulled me away from the fight.

I just don't understand why he always acts out like this. And it's always because of something I do. That's the worst part.

I then see Foster shoot him a look of hopelessness, throwing his hands in the air. He eventually gives up on the conversation then leaves Tristan alone.

He stands there, his arms uncrossing. He takes a deep breath, leaning his head back, then starts walking my way. Here goes my heart again.

As he comes closer, I force my eyes away from him and instead to the concrete parking lot at my feet. His feet suddenly appear in front of mine.

I look up at his face and suck in a breath. A fresh bruise was forming under his eye and his cheek and lip had new cuts. My curiosity had led me to wondering where else could possibly be bruised. Seeing him like this was the worst thing possible.

His jaw clenched hard before he spoke "Hannah I-" he exhaled forcefully before starting again. "I can't. Explain to you how sorry I am." His eyes bore into mine, and a sudden burst of emotion bolts through me.

"Liam and I, don't exactly have the best past. And just. Seeing him touch you like that, set off something inside of me that I can't control. I know, you've seen it before. And I know that it hurts you, believe me, I wish I could stop. But there's just something about you that I can't stay away from. Even though I know that it would benefit you. I'm acting selfish and hurting everyone-"

"Tristan stop." I stare at him with tear blurred eyes. His expression widens in shock of my reaction. "Hannah, please. Please don't cry." His hands reach out to me.

"Shut up!" I snap. Almost stomping my foot on the ground.

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" I repeatedly slam my hands into his towering chest, before I back up until my back hits the car. "This is all my fault!" I choke, pressing my back against it and sliding down until I'm on the ground.

"You have to be kidding." He kneels down to my level. I cover my face with my hands as I violently sob into them. "It's not fair Tristan! If I didn't exist, you wouldn't have to do this, you wouldn't have to worry."

"Shhh, Hannah stop." He sits down next to me, wrapping his arm around me, he pulls me in closer. "None of this is your fault." He speaks quietly, in a calming voice as his head leaned against mine. "I'm just sorry you had to get in the middle of it."

I uncover my face and look him in the eyes. "Why do you even care." I furrow my brows, pushing myself away from him. "You shouldn't care." I push myself up off the ground, his eyes following me.

"How can I be. SO fucking important that you'd risk killing someone!" I throw my hands in the air, the look on his face switching from the sweet Tristan that I've learned to love. He became this.. monster.

"I'm a fucking nobody!" I laugh hysterically, anger boiling in my blood. He stood up, his jaw clenched hard. I take a few steps back as he comes closer to me, making my back hit the car once again.

His arms reach out and lean against the car on each side of me. Trapping me in this makeshift cage. That's definitely one way to shut me up.

"Don't ever. Doubt your importance to me." He stares down into my eyes. I feel his hands latch onto my waist and he lifts me onto the hood of the car that just reaches his stomach.

His grip tightens on my waist and he pulls me closer to him. "You know.. sometimes it feels like... it feels like in this stupid, ugly, deranged world. You're the only thing truly holding me down and keeping me from exploding. From going insane. You keep me sane. And for you to just assume that you don't mean anything to me after all that I've opened up to you. It hurts. It hurts my feelings to hear you say that. To know that you think that way."

One of his hands reaches up and touches the side of my face, leaving a burning sensation behind. My breathing quickens as I feel his thumb softly move over my bottom lip. I watch his eyes glaze with fire as he does this. "I love you Hannah."

His hand quickly moves down to my jaw then pulls my face closer to his. His lips gently brushing against mine. My heart immediately contracts and I reach my arms up and wrap them around his neck, pulling him closer, pressing my lips harder onto his. I will cherish, every, second of this until the day I die.

I move my lips passionately against his, feeling a smirk form onto his lips as he kisses me back with just the same amount. His hands tug on my hips until I'm pressed firmly against his chest.

I slowly release from the kiss, my brain feeling foggy. My heart craving more. My eyes latch onto his to see that he's already staring back. His lips curve into a lustful smile and he leans his head down, resting it in the crook of my neck.

His arms wrap tightly around my waist, holding me impossibly close. I slowly blink my eyes just to see if this feeling is actually real or not. I push out a small laugh and a smile rises onto my lips.

I hear a small mumble from Tristan. "Hmm?" I ask, intrigued by what he's trying to say.

His hot breath fans against my neck as he speaks. "Why'd you laugh?" And up until this moment I'd never felt more complete.

"I love you too."
