Pay attention, as the point of view changes quite often in this chapter. Enjoy! ❤️(Tristan's P.O.V)
I tighten Hannah's seatbelt strap, yanking on the buckle just to make sure it wouldn't fall out. "Tristan stop!" She laughs melodically, and I feel a smile rise onto my face.As I'm done adjusting it I press my forehead against hers. "You're the most important person in my life right now, so I'm not gonna let you die in a car crash because I was careless enough to not check your seatbelt. Leave me alone." I peck her lips and she smiles brightly at me.
"I could've done it." She speaks, her voice swimming in innocence. I only shake my head at the thought.
I close her door, walk around the car then make my way to the front seat. "Fosters?" She asks.
"Not today." I shove my key in the ignition "He's... doing acid today." I inhale deeply, slightly uncomfortable. 'I wish I was lying'.
"And?.. I don't see why we can't go." I turn to look at her with improbability evident in my eyes. Although she's sporting an overconfident smile.
"C'mon Tristan. I'm not a kid!" She laughs. And I can almost feel a smile on my lips, but it quickly disappears. "I said no." I start the car, and we're driving. Soon making it onto an unusually quiet road.
"You're not my dad. You can't just decide everything for me."
"Thank god for that. But I can decide wether something is too dangerous for you or not." I look at her for a split second, annoyance patent on her face.
I turn back to the road. "Fine." She says. And I hear her seatbelt unlock. "If you won't take me. I'll walk there myself." I hear her door open and I immediately turn her way, grabbing the handle and slamming it shut.
"Are you insane?!" I quickly pull the car over. This conversation is clearly not the right one to be having while driving.
"Maybe I am." She smiles. Then starts.. laughing? But her laugh quickly subsides. "There's someone behind us." Her eyebrows furrow as she peers into the rearview mirror.
For a split second I stare at her in confusion, but then turn my body around in my seat, peering behind us.
My hearts sinks to my stomach.

"Shit!" Tristan speaks under his breath as I watch every muscle in his body tense up completely.
He looks around the car, searching under the seats and in the glove box, frantically "Fuck!" He yells again after finding nothing.
I only curl up in my seat, what's going on. "Trista-" his hand covers my mouth.
"They can't know you're here." He breathes heavily and quickly, still peering to the back of the car ever so often, his eyebrows furrowing in anger.
I pry his hand off my mouth and tune my voice down to a whisper. "Tell me what's going on. Who are those guys?" I search between his eyes for an answer, but get nothing.
"Just stay in the car, no matter what happens, okay? Could you do that for me?" His eyes stare into mine with intensity, looking for validation.
I nod slowly, scrunching up in my seat. I turn my head and peer past my seat at the three guys who are leaning against their car, waiting for something.
Someone.I feel Tristan's hand meet the side of my face, catching my attention, I turn to face him again. "Everything will be okay." He reassures me. "Just stay here, it's safe here."
