As I brushed my teeth, I could hear Uncle Remus counting out how much money he currently had. Every time I hear the coins clash together makes me sad. Uncle Remus is extremely smart and the fact that people reject him for being a werewolf isn't right. He should be treated so much better. While finishing my routine, I try to ignore him counting the money.
I was wearing a long summer dress (look up at photo) that I got for my birthday last year. You see, I don't really have the money to buy nice clothes and if I get new clothes, it's probably one or twice a year. Plus, all the clothes I get and wear have to be approved by Uncle Remus because he doesn't want me to be 'too exposed'.
I walk out of the bathroom and into the kitchen where Uncle Remus is attempting to make breakfast. He attempts to flip a pancake like the people on the muggle television do, but it ends up sticking to the ceiling. I fall onto the floor laughing.
"Maybe you should just leave the cooking to me." I say, still laughing.
"Good idea!" He said handing me the pan then sitting down at the table. I giggle, then start to clean up the mess he created.
I learned how to cook from Mrs. Weasley, since as you can see, Uncle Remus isn't the best in the kitchen. She's a phenomenal cook and I was honored to learn from her.
I decided to make oatmeal instead since we should have left an hour ago. We quickly ate breakfast then I grabbed my bag. Most of the time when we have to travel, we use apparition. He held out his arm for me to grab and I held it tight.
"Are you ready?" He asked. I nodded looking up at him. He took out his wand and with a crack, we appeared in Diagon Alley.
Crowds of people filled the streets as usual. It was hard to get to our destinations with all the people, but we dealt with it like we always do. I got all the things on my list except my books.
We walked into Flourish and Blotts. It was crowded as usual, so it was hard to find the books I needed. They were almost sold out, but I managed to find a copy of each book. As we stood in line, I spotted out the two and only Fred and George Weasley. They were talking, but I could tell they were bored.
"Hey Uncle Remus?" I said.
"Hmm?" He hummed looking down at me.
"Could I go with Fred and George? I'll be back I promise." I asked. He nodded and my face immediately lit up. "Thank you! I love you I love you I love you!" I squealed, hugging him tightly.
"Ok ok, now go see your friends." He said shooing me. I ran off waving back at him.
Now, where did those two go? I thought. I scanned the room, yet they seemed to have disappeared. I weave through the crowd, looking for the twin's iconic flaming red hair. I swore that I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find them. Maybe they left? I asked myself. That's when someone place their hands on my shoulders.
Quickly, I turn around, whipping my fist into the face of the person who touched me. Before my fist reached their face, I saw that it was Fred. I stopped my hand. Even when I stopped my fist from hitting his precious face, he fell back.
"Oi! Watch your hand, Y/N!" Fred shouted, getting up from the ground, rubbing the back of his head. He must have hit it on the ground during the fall.
