She walked down the stairs. Step by step, her swollen feet carry her to the main floor of the house. Any day now, she would give birth to her first child. Her husband told her to rest, but she couldn't help herself from watching the sun rise every day.

She slowly made her way to the porch, wand in hand. Though they lived away from most people, she always made sure she was the safest she could be. There was no telling as to what lived near by.

The couple lived in a cottage near a wooded area. The woods surrounded the small house, except for a small area, exposing clear fields spanning miles. Beyond that, the beautiful sun awoke from its slumber, bringing light with it. The sun would eliminate the darkness, replacing it with color.

She loved the sunrise. It made her feel relaxed and safe. She would even say it made her feel protected. Sometimes, the gradient in the sky would inspire her to paint. This time, she only watched the bright orb bring color to the sky above.

She sat on the bench resting against the house, looking out to the gorgeous sight displayed. While doing so, she stroked her stomach, humming a lullaby. It wasn't unusual to find her singing nursery rhymes, especially with the arrival of her child approaching.

"What have I told you?" A voice asked, startling her. She gripped her wand and pointed it towards the sound only to find it was her husband. "It's ok, Amanda. It's just me."

"I just wanted to see the sunrise." She said looking intensely into his grey eyes. She rested her wand by her side on the bench once more, then continued to watch the sun. With a sigh, he walked over to the bench and sat by her side, resting a hand on her protruding stomach.

"I just want the best for you. For our little one." He said, now rubbing her bump. She only continued to ignore him. "I know the sunrise means a lot to you, but it's nearly time, Amanda. You need to rest."

She held his hand. "I'll start resting tomorrow. I promise."

He looks at the sky. "Isn't it a magnificent sight?" She asks.

"Not nearly as magnificent as you."  He purred. He's always been able to charm her. She giggled in response.

"You're too much." She says, resting her head on his shoulder. His presence comforts her. As her head laid on his shoulder, he stroked his hand through her golden hair.

     "Any day now." She whispered.

     "Any day now."

     "Ms. Black!"

My head shut up from my desk. Every eye in the classroom laid on me. I must have been out for roughly 30 minutes. Snape slowly slithered over to me with his eyes pinned onto my confused face.

"My classroom is for learning, not for napping." He said sternly. "20 points from Gryffindor."

As he walks back to the front of the class, I swear under my breath. Luckily, Snape's greasy hair concealed his ears from hearing my words. Though Snape couldn't hear my cussing, George could. My foul language caused him to laugh. I glared daggers at him.

"What's so funny Mr. Weasley?" Snape asked, obviously pissed. With that, George diminished his laughs to only a giggle, then shut his lips completely. Snape smirked with pleasure, then turned towards the board and continued on with his lesson.

"Not so funny anymore, is it Georgie." I whispered. He shot me a glare, then looked back at the board.

Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked back to see Fred looking extremely furious. He points towards a group of Slytherins, which makes me realize he's not in fact mad at me, but at the three slimy bugs snickering in the corner of the room. Rossi obviously loved finding things to push my buttons with. Smith and Manuel loved it too, always adding to the stories they'd tell about me, making them even more false then they where before. Even though I wanted to go over and kick Rossi in the dick as hard as I could, I knew if I did, Snape wouldn't just take away house points, so I just sat at my desk, ignoring their stupidity.

Class was finally over and I didn't have to listen to Snape's lectures. I grabbed my bag and walked out into the corridor, looking for the twins. I was surprised I didn't see them immediately judging by the fact that their flaming red hair was hard to miss. Once I spotted them, something seemed off, but I put that thought aside and continued to walk their way.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked them.

"Nothing much. Just tired, you know?" George said. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, we're going to be late to our next class if we don't get moving." I stated. Even thought I knew they could care less about their attendance, I still notified them.

"Ok, fine." Fred sighed as he followed me to our next class.
