When Renjun, Jeno, Mark, and Chenle decided to pick up their boyfriends from school, they didn't expect all of this commotion to come their way. They legit got lost around five times trying to find this school, and they were already tired from that.

Now, right when the walked through those school gates, everyone started to stare and whisper about them. It got to the point someone walked up to them and asked for Mark's number, in which he declined politely.

But the numbers grew until there was a small crowd around the group. Were they panicking? Yes, and billion times yes.

"I don't think this was a really good idea Jeno!" Renjun shouted from over the loud chatter of the female students.

"I'm starting to think that too!" Jeno yelled back, trying to find a way out without hurting anyone in the process.

It wasn't like the students were hella up close to them or something, it was more like they surrounded them and started fangirling around them. Questions were thrown their way and there were so many of them, the boys didn't even try to answer even one of them.

The trio they were fetching had just stepped out of school doors with Yewon when they were met with such sight. At first, they didn't mind it cause they were too tired to care, but when they heard the familiar voices of their lovers, that's when they decided to see what the hell was going on.

"Transfer students?" Yewon wondered out loud.

"Nope, it's our idiot boyfriends." Donghyuck replied, slipping out an aspirated sigh then jogged towards the crowd.

The female was left alone when Jisung and Jaemin decided to join Donghyuck in his quest.

Donghyuck was the first one to reach the four males, automatically going to Mark.

"Hyuck!" Mark's eyes brightened at the sight of his sunflower, but it dimmed a bit due to the overcoming worriment seeing how fatigued Donghyuck looked.

"Let's get out of here before they get any closer." The younger murmured, interlocking their fingers then began to drag him out of the crowd.

Once Jisung and Jaemin found their way through, they followed in suit. The students saw them dragging the boys out and one of them ventured to question the group of boys.

"Why are you guys dragging them away! I was just about to get one of their numbers too."

"Sorry honey, everyone's taken." Donghyuck retorted, sounding quite rude but the boy's just grumpy when tired, plus, Mark's his.

That lead to a whole buzz of confusion. Girls started to ask other girls if they were girlfriends with any of them, thinking it was one of those different school relationships.

Well, all of them were wrong.

While the students were distracted, the boys made their escape.

"You know what's funny, the same thing happened to me and Chenle when I went to pick him up from his school." Jisung pointed out, remembering how he kissed Chenle in front of all of them just so they could back off. Good times.

"Guess I'm just too handsome."

"hA, that's the funniest joke I've ever heard." Renjun scoffed, rolling his eyes in the process.

"Well, your existence is a joke." Chenle argued back in their native language, smirking.

"If you don't shut up, I'll fucking throw you in the sewers where you can float with your friend Pennywise." The elder spat out in rapid chinese, causing the non chinese speakers look at him with wide eyes.

"I don't know what he said, but I pray for your soul Chenle." Donghyuck commented, making a praying motion with his hands.

"I want to show you something, well, more like take you somewhere."

It around the evening now and the boys were just chilling their own things. Donghyuck though, he wanted to take Mark out and show him one of his favorite places to go.

That place was a dog cafe not too far from his house. It was a good walking distance and he thought it was a nice perk, since they could have a nice romantic walk on the way there.

"Where are you taking me?" Mark asked, quirking up a brow at his sunshine.

"Somewhere you can relax and just chill. You've gone through quite a bit back home, and I wanted you to be refreshed here in Seoul." The younger explained, keeping a steady pace with Mark.

"You don't need to take me anywhere. As long as you're with me, I'll always feel refreshed."

Donghyuck rolled his eyes and slightly shoved the elder's side, "You're getting cheesier the older you get."

"What? Do you not like it?"

"I-It's not that I don't like it. I-It's just..." He let out a sigh, not knowing what to say as the words just got stuck in his throat. The effect Mark had on Donghyuck was just something else.

From the moment he saw him during the summer, he knew he felt something towards the boy. Almost like a string of fate had been tied to both of their pinkies at birth.

Mark smiled fondly at the other, enjoying Donghyuck's flustered state. He then leaned over a bit and connected their lips for a sweet kiss.

The younger pushed away after a few seconds, "You don't do that to a person y'know? I almost had a heart attack!"

"Oh? Are you sure it's just that, or are you just trying to hide how red you look?" A smirk rose on the elder's lips, seeing Donghyuck's head turned the other way.

"iT'S JUST THAT!" He answered, a bit too quickly to sound convincing.

It was silent for a few seconds before Donghyuck heard Mark laughing. He whipped his head around ready to throw some insults, but halted in his tracks to just admire how happy he looked.

The way his eyes turned into crescents with his nose scrunched up all cutely, the younger couldn't possibly not melt at the sight. Soon enough, Donghyuck found himself laughing too, joining the elder.

i went to the rodeo yesterday with my friends and now my whole body is sore :)

but hey, at least it wasn't that sunny yesterday so i didn't get burnt into a crisp
