"When was the last time we all met up like this? Was it five or six years ago?"
Once the party was over, and the dreamies were dead asleep, their mothers met up in Sowoo's room. The ladies were clad in their pajamas, sitting on the blanket and pillow covered floor.
Tonight was for sure going to be a long night, as there was a lot to talk about. Especially because the wedding was only a few days away.
"It was more like ten thousand years ago." Yuhyun said.
The ladies let out small chuckles. A wave of nostalgia shot through the females.
Memories of them years and years ago had came rushing back. There were multiple times in where they would have sleepovers or meet ups like this.
Now, to see each other all grown up with kids, made them really miss the old times where they were still at the peak of their youth.
"Okay okay, we still have operation Norenmin to tend to." Yonghwa reminded.
"Right. So, Huiyin--Hey, Yinnie?" Mikyung waved her hand in front of the other's face, attempting to get her out of her intense staring contest with the floor.
The female looked dead. Like her soul had left her body way before she was to walk the earth herself. Failure to get her out of her daze, Yue, Chenle's mother, crawled over to her to gently shake her still figure.
"Yinnie, earth to Yinnie!" And finally the female snapped out of it.
The said female looked at the concerned looks on her friend's faces, making her believe that they had already caught her roaming around in her thoughts. And they weren't good ones either.
"What's wrong hon?" Yuhyun asked, brows furrowed.
"Everything. My husband is a fucking asshole who isn't considerate of his own son's feelings, and my son...Oh my poor boy. He has to go through all of this bullshit. I know I've said getting out of this would be a piece of cake, but I couldn't help but think of the endless ways that this could go wrong. And I...I can't let Renjun get hurt no matter what." By now, Huiyin had tears trickling down her reddened cheeks.
The other six looked at her, and felt her pain. As mothers, they understood the idea of not wanting their child to get hurt. No matter how many times they clowned or got mad at their sons, deep down, their sons were their everything.
They would go to the ends of the earth for them.
Slowly, each mother also had tears running down their cheeks. Glossy eyes and all, they sat in silence.
"Y-Yinnie, i-it's going to be o-okay. Y-You know we'll a-always going to be there right behind you to catch you r-right?" Hyewon stuttered, making her way to Huiyin then engulfed her in a warm hug.
"What if it isn't--"
"It is going to be okay Huiyin. With us there, there is no way we can't go through with it. You always told us to never lose hope even though it seems as if all odds are against you, and you know what? Same goes for now." Yuhyun exclaimed, joining in on the hug.
Eventually, all of them were hugging each other, trying to comfort Huiyin.
"I never say this much, but thank you so much." Huiyin choked out.
"It's nothing Yinnie. We should be thanking you for being the only sane one here." Hyewon said, chuckling at the small reference she made.
"Oh shut up, you chick." Huiyin let a giggle leave her lips, a small smile etched on her lips as she hugged the girls.

"Your dad's a bitch." Donghyuck commented, snuggling into Mark's side whilst listening in on Renjun's dilemma.
"I know. He's my dad and I love him and all, but this? It's too much. I just want to leave this place already." Renjun let out a long sigh, tightening his hold on one of his many moomin plushies.
"Same. Last night, me and Jisung were just dancing and minding our own business until a lady started insulting us. I was so upset, I kind of went off on her." Chenle said, with a small frown on his face.
The dreamies had all woken up not too long ago and just gathered in Renjun's room. Everyone was still a bit groggy, but either than that, talk about their individual lives were the main topics.
They all were all on the floor at the foot of Renjun's bed, with blankets and pillows still in their grasps.
"Oh yes, is this tea that is spilling? Because a sister's here to hear about all of it." The honey skinned male shook off some of his sleepiness to hear in detail about Chensung's little situation last night.
"Spill. Give me that lady's address too. I just want to talk, that's all." Jaemin was smiling quite scarily. It even creeped the boys out a bit.
"No, as much as I want to. No. But anyways, me and Jisung were just dancing, that's it! Then a lady came up to us asking us what we were doing, so I told her that we were dancing. After that, she called us stupid and rude—"
"But she's the rude one? The fuck?" Donghyuck commented under his breath.
"And so basically, I went off on her after she completely crossed the line. I told her I was the heir of the Zhong family and all that jazz." Chenle finished.
"Dang, my son is growing up so fast!" Jaemin wiped a fake tear away from his eyes.
"A sister popped off."
Everyone took a moment to enjoy the feeling of being together again. It wasn't for long, but it was at least something. Being here, just the seven of them talking and laughing hysterically at whatever it was, sent a shrill of nostalgia and bliss through them.
It was just the dreamies being dreamies, nothing more and nothing less.
