Promise Me? 5sos Ashton Irwin

Chapter Two

*Ariels POV*

"What is it?" I ask in a slightly worried tone

"Well we both figured since it's your senior year, and your birthdays next week we thought we'd give you a birthday/graduation present" my mom said as her and my dad's smile for bigger.

"Ok..." I said getting excited.

"Well we know how much you love that band 5sos so..... we bought you tickets to their concert that's on the first day of summer!" my dad said excitedly.

I said nothing, I just stood there in shock of what my parents just said. My smile grew wider as I realised that my parent's weren't joking.

"Are you serious?!" I screamed. Both of parents nodded their heads.

"I'VE GOT TO GO TELL BAILEY" I said as I ran to my room

After 2 hours of talking to Bailey on the phone I hung up and decided to get my algebra homework done.

After 2 hours of doing my homework I decided to take a shower. I couldn't focus on my homework much which is why it took me so long. I can't believe I'm going to meet them. The band that has got me through all my hard times .

The next day at school I had a hard time concentrating. I couldn't keep my mind off the fact that I'm graduating and I'm going to see 5sos in concert. Everything was happening so fast and my mind could barely grasp onto any of it.

* 5 days until graduation *

I woke up and realised that I only had 5 days left of school. 5 days until I graduated. And only 6 days until the 5sos concert.

Casey, Bailey, and I decided that since it's the last days of school we were going to dress up nicely. I grabbed the clothes I had set out the night before and went to take a shower.

After my shower I got out and curled my hair and applied some light make-up. Today I was wearing a pastel floral dress with some black flats. I decided on flats because I hate the way heels make my feet feel after walking in them all day.

When I got to school I noticed that alot of seniors decided to dress up for their last week of school. I've noticed that I've been walking slower to all of my classes. I think it's because I know that it's going to be my last times walking through these halls.

At lunch we sit and talk about our futures. Robby wants to be a doctor. Bailey is becoming a cosmtologist . Casey is going to be a nurse hopefully at the same hospital as Robby seeing as how they were bestfriends. And David wants to be a dentist. I on the other hand seem to be the only one who doesn't quite know what to do after high school.

Sometimes I worry about the fact that I don't know what I want to do. But my friends and teachers assure me that it doesn't mean anything bad. It just means that I haven't found my passion yet. I guess there right, I haven't found anything that really speaks to me yet.

*later at the end of the day*

I decided that since I have no homework i'd go through old pictures. I open up a book that said "Ariels friends". I begin to cry as I flip through the book. It was pictures of Bailey , David, Robby, Casey, and I. God I can't believe that were all leaving soon

* the day of graduation *

I stood beside my bestfriends and I can't believe this day is here. After four years it's finally time to graduate. No more high school. No more stupid drama. And in a few days it was the 5sos concert. And. I. Can't. Wait.

Me and my friends were waiting for the ceromony to begin discussing all of the good times we've had. We all have been friends since elementary school and we were now planning to go our own ways. Everyone knew what they were going to do except for me. I had no idea where to go after this.

Our teacher came and told all of us that the ceromony was about to start. They started calling out names as tears started to form in my eyes.

When they called my name my parents and brother screamed on the top of their lungs "way to go Ariel".

After the tossing of the caps I went down to where my parents and brother were. They all had tears in there eyes but were trying to hide it, except for my mom of course.

"I am so proud of you Ariel. After everything you've been through this.... well I'm just so proud." My mother said.

After graduation my parents decided to take us all out to dinner. We spent the whole time talking about what I have planned for the future and what college I want to attend.

"Well whatever you do in the future we know that you'll be great at it" my dad said as my mom and brother agreed.

"Thanks guys, let's go home" I said as I got up from the booth in the restaurant.

When we got home I took a shower to try to calm down. This is it. I'm done with high school.
