Chapter Sixteen

*Ashtons POV*

I woke up to Calum and and and Mikey shaking me lightly, attemping to wake me up.

"Whattt" I whined pulling the covers over my head attempting to fall back asleep.

Last night me and Ariel went on our date, and I went to bed with a sleep on my face. I dreamt of me and Ariels date,but instead of it going how it did last night, it ended up with us together. I couldn't help but smile at the dream.

"Come on Ash you guys have three interviews today" Ariel said stepping into the room.

He voice instantly made me smile, and I finally gave up and went to go get ready, giving Ariel a small hug as I walked into the bedroom.

I turned on the water, as I waited for the water to heat up I realised it was 6:30. Our first interview was at 8 so they probably wanted to give me sometime to get ready.

Once the water was ready, I hopped in. After drenching my hair I washed it with shampoo and conditioner. I finished washing body and turned off the shower.

I walked out the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around my waist.

"Nice outfit" Ariel said jokingly, wiggling her eyebrows at me.

I shoved her play fully giving her a wink. After I had the room to myself I changed into black jeans, and a simple grey muscle tee.

After I got dressed I walked out into the other hotel room, where the boys and Carter were, and grabbed a bottle of water from the mini fridge.

"Who's ready for these interviews" Mikey said with fake enthusiasm.

"It's going to be sooo much fun" Luke replied, obvious sarcasm laced in his voice.

We only did interviews because we had to, and for the fans of course. Some interviews werent bad at all, but some of them are just really boring. Most of the time they ask the same questions.

"Maybe today's won't be so bad" Calum said trying to lighten our moon about having 3 interviews today.

"Maybe" I said.

*At the first interview*

All four of us were now on the couch with our giddy interviewer infront of us.

"So how are you guys today" she asked.

We all replied saying either: good, great, or fine. I can all ready tell that this day is going to go by painfully slow.

After some questions the interview turned to me, with curiosity in her face.

"So Ashton" she started leaning foward on her white chair. "Are you and Ariel a couple"

I honestly didn't expect that question to be asked today. I tried coming up with something to say as she stared at me with interest.

"No we are not a couple" I said truthfully.

"Well can you explain this picture then" she asked curiously as she pointed to the screen.

I looked over and realised that it was a picture of me and Ariel from our date the previous night. She had her head thrown back in laughter, and I couldn't help but thinking that she looked so beautiful.

"That was two friends just having dinner together" I half lied.

I didnt want to give any hints that me and Ariel were a couple, since I didn't know how she felt about the whole topic.

I watched as the interviewers face fell with dissapointment.

"All right.... Let's move on" she said hesitantly as I silently let out a breathe of relief.

*After the final interviews*

The last two interviews went alot like the first one, then asking questions, quite a few about Ariel. Each interviewer has their own picture of our date the previous night.

After the last interview we went to go get something to eat, which is where we are now.

"I'm glad that's over" Luke said, while letting out a breath of relief.

"Me too" I sighed "especially since they kept on asking about me and Ariel"

"I didn't really mind it that much" Ariel admitted, while she grabbed her lemonade.

"Why not" Calum asked.

"Well" she started after she took a sip of her drink. "I get that people are curious. Especially fans. From all those photos I can get how people would assume that"

"Yea your right" I agreed while shaking my head.

I would be pretty curious about it too. I couldn't help but wonder if Ariel felt the same way I did about the date. I know she said that she had fun, but I wanted to know what her real feelings on the situation was.

"Ash you ready to go?" Ariel said, breaking me from my thoughts.

I nodded and gave her a smile as headed towards the car. On the ride home my brain was flooded with thoughts of Ariel.
