Family?

Sakura did ended up staying over at Ino's place(Inoichi insisted, not wanting to leave her alone). And just for a little bit more fun, the young Hyuga heiress joined too.

There they all sat at the table, whiles dinner was being served. They chatted almost animatedly about random things that comes to mind. Sakura sat, inputting only when necessary as her mind constantly wanders off.

Sakura stared at the walls, ignoring the jittery from her friends. They were plain, boring, like them.

"Thank you for the food." Everyone chanted, before eating the pleasantries.

The pinkette looked around the table gloomily. Thoughts ran through her head.

They look so happy..

Is this how a family is supposed to be?

It feels...nice.

A small smile spread across her face. But it didn't last for long. Looking up to only come face to face four humanoid figures staring at her.

With four identical Cheshire like grins on their faces, even through all the blood and injuries on their faces, she recognized them. Particularly the short one with bubblegum hair and crimson colored irises.

It was her mother, along with Kai and the girl that was hung from the ark. Her body began to tremble, her jade eyes widening in shock and her mouth left agape. She was being shaken repeatedly, fragments of words mixed with concern called to her.

".......ura!"

"Sakura!"

"Don't listen to them dear."

A moment passed until she finally snapped out of the trance, turning to face Ino who had a concerning look. Everyone turned to face her. "Are you okay dear?" Inoichi questioned, carefully looking at her body language. She shook her head,"I'm fine." She smiled but he could tell it was a lie.

Soon everyone went to bed, but not Sakura. Because they were still there.

The voices, bodies reminding her of the sins she committed. She's just like them now.

Monster

Murderer

A horrible creature that deserves to be tortured to death. She failed her team, her friends, everyone.

Silent tears filled the cold night as the little girl wished for an end to it all.

The training grounds were hectic, with Tsunade yelling at her, telling her to push pass her limits. Although she couldn't, she was too weak.

I can help you, just let go.

"Shut up! I don't need you! Go away!" The pinkette gritted her teeth. Tsunade noticed the girl much to her dismay.

"Stop talking to yourself girl! You need to focus!"

I'm trying, Sakura thought to herself, it's just not enough.

Let me help Sakura.

"SHUT UP!" The pinkette screamed of the blue. Her sensei noticed this, calling back her student she patted the soft grass next to her, "Sit." she commanded. The pinkette did so without hesitation. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Tsunade observed her pupil. The dark circles under her eyes, everything.

"Who were talking to, Sakura?" She questioned, the pinkette looked away.

"No one."

Tsunade was confused, she looked at her in disbelief, "Are you.....okay?" The pinkette looked at her and smiled, "Perfect, actually."

"Madness and sanity are two terms that are so vague and relative that you can't apportion proper values to them. The only thing I can think of that has any use functional and dysfunctional. Are you working as well? In which case, it doesn't matter if you are mad."
