My Uncertainities

His knees were brought to his chest, wrapping his arms around his lean torso. Naruto's eyes were filled with hatred as he glared at the shit show called Konoha. He understood, he really did. You can't save everyone. She was just another one. Just another reason why.
And he couldn't bear it.
He felt weak, distraught.
If only he had stayed.
He worked so, so hard. For two years, just so that he could protect them, protect her. He failed, he knew and he grew angry.
When they broke the news, he ran, ran away from the truth. He wished for it all just to be a lie. That he'd walk down the streets right now and she would be standing, waiting for him-but no. She's gone. Forever.
So there he sat, on top of the Fourth's head. Hoping for it all to be a dream. A silent tear cascaded down his cheek, he bit his lip in attempts to stop. I'm not gonna cry. I'm done I pro-
He bursted into tears, screaming to the sky. "WHY DID YOU TAKE HER AWAY?!"
"I WANT HER BACK!!"
"GIVE HER BACK YOU SON OF A BITCH!" He fell to his knees, sobbing uncontrollably. "Give her back....." he stated weakly. In a split second his eyes flashed red.
"I will make you pay."

Hinata stood at the edge of the cliff, listening to the sounds of the broken boy. Her face morphed into a frown as her lavender locks shielded her eyes.
"He loved you so dearly."
Her feet nearly slipped; she quickly regained balance. She heard him stop from above and mumbled some incoherent words.
"Even though you hurt him so much."
She felt like crying, her arms shook. Tears threatened to spill.
"Why did you make him cry?"
He would never love her, Sakura took it all away. She took him away from her. Tears fell, but she wasn't sad-NO. She was fucking pissed. Sakura made him cry so much. She did nothing for him! Nothing. She wasn't there for him when he was being bullied. She wasn't there when the villagers beat him within an inch of his life. She wasn't there when he celebrated his first pass in a test. She was never there. She never was there when he was at his all time low.
She never saw the times when he broke down completely in his own loneliness. She didn't but Hinata did.
Yet Naruto never saw me.
It was rude to speak of the dead in such a manner but in a surge of anger, she didn't care. She climbed up the statue and look to see a crestfallen Naruto. Her heart ached seeing him like that. But behind him, stood a little girl. She had such a pretty red dress and two neat black shoes. A velvet ribbon bowed her hair. She looked up to the Hyuuga and smiled a sweet smile. Hinata widened her eyes.
The girl had bubblegum hair; jade eyes. "It... It can't be..." the heiress murmured frightenedly. Naruto looked up at Hinata oddly. "Are you okay?" He wiped his face then proceeded to turn behind him. He looked at her confused, his bloodshot eyes searching hers for an answer.
Hinata immediately shut her lips together, "It's... nothing..." She stuttered out, the blush creeping up was evident. She looked up to see that the little girl disappeared soon after.

Bodies.
Every time he closes his eyes. The dead bodies of the once legendary clan, Uchiha. Every night he'd see them, with their cuts and bruises on display. As a child, he was petrified, but grew used to them as he got older. The more and more people he killed, he would always see them in the night. They were like an old friend to him now. A reminder and a warning.
Sasuke walked through the forest with Team Taka. His hand lingering near the sheath of the katana, waiting, looking. He had definitely got stronger, maybe even strong too-
No. Not yet. He sighed. Walking slowly, his eyes seemed to catch a figure, staring off into the sky, completely unaware of the danger behind. His eyes widened as he recognized her. She was definitely older but, same hair, same eyes. Those beautiful eyes. She turned to face him and smiled softly. Her slender arm outstretched as if begging him to take it. His hand reached out, his mind void of any thoughts; he numbly reached out to touch, to feel her.
"Sakura?" He asked innocently, softly. Why are you here? He didn't hear in time. Their fingers brushed against each other for a split second. He winced when his head pounded furiously whiles memories of someone else flashed through his mind. It fucking hurt. He fell back before being caught by someone. Screaming in agony, he tried making sense of it. Tears streamed down his face.
His fingers felt numb, as he reached out to trace the outlines of Itachi's tear-stricken face. He felt a small smile creeping on his face despite the blood trickling down his cheeks. He was tired. They both were.
"Danzo knows," was all he said.
The younger reached out for him, "You can't- Shisui..." Itachi pleaded to him. His lips twisted into a frown, as deep pools of black transformed into vermilion. Wisps of hair came loose from his ponytail, fluttering gently in the night breeze. Shisui had never seen him so emotive, he wondered if he would jump too. And at the same time, he had never seen Itachi more beautiful than he did now. Funny how all it took was for him... was for him to jump.
"Please-I can't do this alone!" Itachi begged him, inching closer.
He didn't hesitate to dig his fingers into his remaining eye. Pain was nothing but an afterthought. There was no turning back. Darkness enveloped him, he felt the wet trickling down his cheeks, the sound of the water crashing down below sounded comforting to him now. Shisui took a step backwards, and smiled for the last time. A sad smile.
"We don't have a choice, Itachi."
He fell. He fell deep into the void that welcomed him with open arms.
Shisui longed for the arms of someone he couldn't have any more.
He held his head in his hands, slowly the pain died down. His rapid heartbeats faltered and his breath steadied. He looked up to see Karin staring at him with worried eyes. His head rested against her chest whiles she examined him from head to toe.
"Are you okay, Sasuke-kun?" She asked lowly, concern written all over her face. He took time to study her features. She was, in fact, rather pretty despite being clingy. He absent-mindedly looked to see if she was till there, but frowned upon nothing. His teammates yelled in his ears to get up. He can hear the redhead trying to silence them. Silently thanking her, he dozed off, thoughts plaguing his once peaceful mind and vengeful heart.
What was that for?
Itachi?
Why was she there?
Am I missing something?
What's going on?
And he fell into a deep slumber, head resting on Karin's lap, whiles the others decided to camp here for the night.
