When there's a mouldy fruit in your basket,
You don't keep there,
Why?
Because you don't want to contaminate the rest,
Now; I'm not saying that people are fruit,
Because we aren't.
We aren't fruit, not at all,
(Fruit do far more to contribute to the world than us),
What I'm saying is;
When someone negatively affects you,
You should not leave it to fester,
Do not allow your fruit to all perish,
Just one rotten apple can send the rest to the gutter,
So don't let it.
Get rid of the apple,
Whether that apple is a friend, a family member, a lover, a coworker, boss- whatever.
Whether that apple is big or small.
Whether that apple is one or many.
Do not give the apple the power to control you,
You deserve better,
Get rid of the apple.
