Cheryl's POV
It had been a really rough day for me so far, but at least I had Toni to cheer me up. We were walking around the city and I think we were going to get lunch but I wasn't sure. I told Toni to surprise me so that's what's she was doing.
Since no one who knew us was around, we were holding hands as we walked down the streets. Before today I would've been scared that people would stare or say something, but in reality they just keep walking like it's normal, probably because it is more normal than it used to be. Maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing to come out publicly. I'll have to think on it.
Toni pulled me down the next street and it seemed like she was going to a certain place since she was going in specific directions. I was curious about what she was doing, so I asked.
"Where are we going, Tee-Tee?"
"I can't tell you. You said to surprise you, so I am." She replied with a bubbly smile.
"Well are we at least going to be there soon?"
"Yup!" She said, popping the p. "We're actually here now." She added as we stopped in the middle of the side walk. I looked at the restaurant we stopped in front of and saw that it was called 'The Cherry Cafe'. Toni then grabbed my hand again and pulled me inside.
Upon entering the cafe you could immediately smell cherries. The walls were a light red color and there was a lot of natural light coming in through the street windows.
I already love this place!
"Okay so this is more of a dessert place and I was going to take you to lunch first but I couldn't wait to show you this!" She explained.
"This place is amazing! Thank you for bringing me here!" I exclaimed excitedly as I gave her a big hug.
"You're welcome, Cheryl. Let's go get in line now." She said as she pulled me over to the long line. Of course it was a long line since it's a busy weekend in a big city and this is practically heaven! I really love cherry foods! Toni and I looked at the menu once we got in line. "What do you think you're gonna get?"
"Everything."
"You can't get everything, babe." Toni giggled. "We're going to lunch after this."
"But . . . cherry food." I looked at her with a small pout.
"Maybe we can get a few things to go." Toni smiled.
"Okay." I frowned.
"Hey if we come back to Seaside again then I'll bring you back here."
"Promise?"
"I promise." She smiled and gave me a quick kiss. We then continued to wait in line as I debated on what I wanted to get.

Toni and I walked over to a little table with what we had chosen to get. Toni got a cherry cupcake while I got a piece of black forest cheesecake and a scoop of cherry ice cream. I also got some cherry bars, chocolate covered cherries, and cherry marshmallows to take back to the hotel. Like I said, I like cherry stuff, and this is cherry heaven! I am wondering on how Toni knew about it though.
"So I take it you like it here?" Toni laughed as I started to quickly eat my desserts.
"I love it! But If you don't mind me by asking, how did you know about this place?"
"My parents took me here when I was around Bella's age. We were actually here on a business trip on my birthday and I was so bored and upset the whole time. My parents felt bad about it and took me here since they heard good reviews about it. Luckily for them I loved it." She laughed.
