Chapter 17

I knocked on the door to my brother's house. Tears were still falling down my face.
Jae opened the door and saw me. He quickly pulled me inside. He sat me on the couch and ran into the kitchen. He soon came back with a cup of hot chocolate. It had a few marshmallows in it. He handed it to me.
"What happen?" he asked quickly.
"He is cheating on me," I said continuing to cry. Jae pulled me into him. He was hugging me. He pulled my face up. He wiped my tears away. I started to tell him the whole story.
"You sure it was him?" I nodded. "I knew I couldn't trust him. I always knew him would break your heart someday."
I looked up at him in confusion. "Why? I knew he would never do that to me."
"It just goes back, to when you first told me you two were dating. He just had this look that he didn't truly love you. I should have never trusted him. I'm surprised he stayed around so long."
My tears started to go away. I continued to stare at Jae. "Where am I going to stay? JYP still hasn't given we our dorm yet."
"Just stay here with me. I have an extra room for you. I'm sure Misty can keep you cheered up too."
I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you."

I woke up in Jae's spare room. I got dressed in a black crop top with jean shorts with a few rips at the bottom.
I walked out of the room. Misty followed me. She kept brushing herself up against my legs. I went into the kitchen.
Jae was sitting in a chair drinking a cup of coffee. He quickly looked up at me and smiled. "Good morning. Did you sleep well?"
I nodded and sat down next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder. Misty jumped up into my lap.
"Do you have training today with the others?"
"Yeah, but it isn't till later."
"Great! Want to come to work with me for a bit? It has been a while since you've been there. Everyone is missing you."
"Sure, I guess I could go. I'll have to leave around twelve."
"Let me go get ready and we can leave." He stood up and walked off out of the kitchen.
I grabbed Misty from my lap and put her on the floor. I got out of my seat and walked into the living room. I grabbed my helmet and put it on my head. I started to strap it on.
Jae came back and he had his car keys. He smiled at and walked over to the door.
We both slipped our shoes on and headed outside. I got on my motorcycle and he got into his car. We both then took off to work.

I walked into the building. It has been upgraded a lot since the last time I have been here. People were roaming around the main floor.
Jae grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the elevator. We went to the third floor and Jae walked me over to our offices.
He opened the door to my office and pushed me inside. He quickly shut the door leaving me left inside.
I walked over to my desk and sat down. It has been such a long time, I thought to myself.
Just then someone knocked on my door. I yelled for them to come in. A young man with dark brown hair entered.
I jumped up and ran to hug him. He had a big smiled on his face as he also pulled me into a tight hug.
"I've missed you so much, Min," he said not pulling away.
"Me too, Taewoo," I said still smiling.
"So, how was life in New York?" He finally pulled away with a smile on his face.
"It was great. The company is doing just fine there. And Changho really misses you. He said he will come back in a few months."
"He is! I'm so excited! It has been forever since I've seen him. Mom has been so worried about him."
"He did just fine though. His English has improved a lot since he has been there."
"I'm going to tell mom tonight. She will be so happy."
"So, how has the company been since I've been gone?"
"About the same. Just a few new things here and there. I've been using your office a lot lately. I was happy when I heard you were here today, I just dropped everything and came running up here."
"Aw... you didn't have to. You must have been getting along with everything well then." He nodded.
"I've missed you too much."

It was a shame that I had to leave early. I and Taewoo have known each other for a while. Before I and Jae ran the company, my father and Taewoo's father owned it together. When they thought it was time for them to take their kids to show us around, we ran into them and me, Taewoo, and Jae have run the company since our fathers stepped down.
I stepped into JYP's office. JYP has called me and Star into his office for a quick meeting.
Whenever Star isn't around, I normally take the spot as the leader. I've been around longer than Star has and the other girls knew me longer. It is easier for them to follow my orders.
I saw that Star was already in the office. I sat down in the chair next to her. Seoyeon, our manager, was also there.
"You must be wondering why I have called you three in here. Well, I've finally decided to give Moonlight a dorm to live in. I and Seoyeon thought that you all know each other well enough that you can live together."
Star had a huge smile on her face. I could tell she was very excited. I was very excited too.
"All of you can start moving in tomorrow. It is also with all the other JYP groups. Make sure you don't disturb the seniors too much."
With that, it was over. We both ran to the others in the practice room. I flung the door open. Everyone looked over at me.
"We finally get to have a dorm!"
