Yoo Jeongyeon's POV

I just came back from my visit in Toronto. I'm now in Seoul. Toronto was very fun and it made me miss it like I wanna go back and live there again. Well, my mom has been insisting to move back there and I don't know why exactly. I had two relationships and had a 'thing' with three other girls when I was still a trainee. But my recent one had me devastated. I tried to take her back but I guess because of my dumbass, she went with another guy and was really done with me.

~Flashback~

Before I went to visit Toronto, I tried to take my ex back. Jisoo, now a member of blackpink. The one I stayed with for almost a year, the longest relationship I had.

I went to buy a small monkey stuffed toy because her nickname for me was 'baby monkey' cause I seemed like it she said. Bought a gift for her. I just really hope she accepts me back.

We met up at the train station. I saw her standing waiting at the entrance. 'Goddamn, she's so beautiful. I can't believe I let go of her' I thought.  She's wearing a fitted red dress, white sneakers, and a black purse.

I'm planning to bring her at the place we couldn't go when I promised her I'd bring her there. It's upsetting I couldn't bring her there when she was still mine...Now, she's dating someone else. They're not in a relationship yet so I hope I still have a chance.

'Hi..! Ready to go?' I asked cheerfully. Trying to hide the negative feelings inside knowing the fact that there's someone that could possibly replace me...or already replaced me.

She nodded. I went to grab her wrist gently, not her hand just because I know she might let go.

While we were walking to the place. She was looking pretty worried. I didn't tell her where I'm gonna bring her so I can't blame her.

'Hey, you're gonna be fine. I promise.' I said to calm her and to let her know she's in good hands.

'There's that promise again. You said that when you promised me you wouldn't let me go' she said and averted her eyes right away and looked somewhere else to avid my eyes.

I faced her. 'You'll be fine' I said, patting her head, trying to make her look me in the eyes. Successfully, I smiled. 'By the way, here' handing her the bag with presents in it including the baby monkey stuffed toy.

'What's this?' Curiously she asked. Trying to look inside it.

'Just some presents I thought you would like' I said while leading her to walk again to the place I promised her I will take her when we were still together.

I stopped walking 'By the way, you look great' I looked at her with smiley face.

She looked surprised. Avoided eye contact with me said thank you to me. I started walked again and she started following me.

Minutes later, we had arrived to the promised place.

'We're here' I faced her with smiley face and brought her to the bench near the cliff.

It's a park. A park surrounded by nature where everyone goes picnic, play with their dogs, jog and other things. It's a place with cliff-like. It's not that high. When you look down, you'll see a path where people jog and go bicycling. Beside the path you'll see a big and wide river. You'll see the other side also with a park with the same purpose. You can see downtown from that place. Beautiful huge buildings that's quite a sight when it's sunrise and sunset.

'Finally, I get to bring her...to the promised place' I thought. Looking at the girl beside looking at the view with those beautiful sparkly eyes.

'Quite a view, don't you think?' I asked. Looking at her still looking at downtown that I said awhile ago that is quite a sight.

'What's this place?' She curiously asked while looking at me as if waiting for an answer.

'The promised place..' I smiled while looking at her. 'Remember the place I promised you when I said I'd bring you there one day?' I said while looking at view. 'We're there right now.' I continued. I knew she looked at me from my pheripheral vision.

She averted her eyes to avoid my eyes again when I looked at her.

It was silence for a moment

'Does he make you happy?' I asked to break the silence. It startled her. She looked surprised that I know she's seeing someone else.

'Yeah...' she looked down.

It saddened me. I really am too late. I despised myself that day because I let go such an amazing girl.

I played the song 'Can't Help Falling In Love' that is covered by a girl. I thougt maybe I could have a last dance with her.

'Can I at least have this dance?...for the last time?' I asked, offering my hand to her and standing like a gentleman.

She accepted my offer. We danced through the song. It wasn't quite the whole time because we were kind of fooling around halfway of the song. It was such a glorious moment as if we were still dating at the time. Until, we sat down to talk. I was trying to take her back but it really was too late. She said he makes her happy and all. She doesn't love him yet but he makes her happy. I envied that current person who's doing all the things I used to do to her and with her. I cried in front of her, I looked pathetic on my knees. We said our goodbyes and I went to Canada the next day for vacation.
